I was able to take 2 pairs of my fave black jeans and bring them back to black. I was worried that the color might come out uneven, but this dye worked perfectly in my washing machine. It was incredibly easy to use, and my jeans look almost brand new again. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to refresh their favorite black clothing items; it saved me from having to go out and buy replacements!
Worked great! I dyed an old high chair cover that was stained and now it looks brand new. The rubber ring on my washer did have some blue on it, but I wiped it down and it came of and ran my washer on tub clean and it was gone. This is a great fabric dye!!!
I am absolutely delighted that I purchased this product. I was really worried at first, especially for the laundry machine, but I followed each step of the tutorial and now the machine is as new and the clothes are extremely black (as I wanted them to be). I definitely recommend this product !!
This stuff is AMAZING! I bought a dress online to wear on Fridays to games. Everyone made fun of the fact it was “orange” and not our school colors (red). I used the red pod and the difference is crazy good. It was so easy to use!! I took before and after photos with a pair of red short for reference too.
This color needs to be pre-dissolved vs the others that you just throw in the washer. What a mess! The point of it being a “pod” is that it's simple. So instead you mix it in a pitcher, and then pour it in detergent area. More to clean, easy to spill. Application ended up being uneven, leaving darker spots in one area.
I've never been compelled to write a product review until now. This is the worst bait and switch if you get any of the 5 colors that require "pre-dissolving." That literally defeats the entire point of a "dye pod" product. The instructions that come with the pod say to stir for 3-5 minutes, and that is not an exaggeration--it took 5 minutes of continuous stirring to dissolve the powder, which expanded and solidified into a weird crystal-like material that had to be broken up. To add insult to injury, the dye itself was barely noticeable. Anyone interested in the 5 "pre-dissolving" colors should avoid to save yourself from the most frustrating dyeing experience I've ever had, and everyone else should too as a matter of principle. Stick to Rit, which is less expensive, easier to use, AND more effective.
Beware of a long shipping delay and then being refunded without requesting it. I received a regund when I called in jyst to ask where the item is and wgen will it be here. Tge afent immediately refunded me for it geing so delayed. Then Walmart is recharging me again because it eventually came in two weeks later. This is absolutely Wrong to do to a customer. Make sure when tou need to call in about your item being long delayed that you let them know you're not asking to refund you but just when the itemis coming in. I don't care how nice the product is it's very wtong for them to rake the money back just because it finally came in. Will never purchase again from this Seller
I got this to die one thing that's all I washed and ended up being tie-dyed. It looked horrible and I wish that I hadn't used this brand.
Does not deliver what it promises. I carefully followed all the instructions, but my dark clothes actually became more faded. Not recommended
It dyed nicely but the wrong color. Not at all, and I mean it. Not one speck of green. Completely blue color. So, not good. But pretty light baby blue, but nothing like a sage green or any green of that matter.
