Turtle Wax 50792 Renew Rx Premium Grade Rubbing Compound, 18 oz

This is a great product compared to many others at the consumer level. My hobby is working on cars so while I'm not a professional, I have about 30 years working on my cars, friends cars in every capacity. I bought this initially because I know the brand and have used the smaller size of the product with good results. I'm using this to fix a friends butchered paint job that was never wet sanded. It's an old 03 S Class (never but one, the paint is just the tip of the iceberg on this S* show of a car) and they are deceptively large. This product used lightly on a slow buffer let's me get to the polish stage faster than going to 3000 grit. Do anything with a buffer slow and lightly, or you'll go through the paint. For the price and performance, I highly recommend it.

Some inconsiderate driver of a bright yellow car left a large swipe of his paint on my front pasenger side fender while it was parked. i did not notice it right away. When i did, I ordered this rubbing compound to try to remove the yellow paint that did not yield to a finger nail. It worked! Took almost 30 minutes of serious rubbing and certainly didn't remove the small ding, but I'm very pleased to be rid of the ugly yellow paint. The product recommends using a microfiber cloth but that did not work for me. what did work was one of those Mr Siga cellulose non-scratch scrub sponges. The Mr Carwash guy couldn't believe i got the yellow off without damaging my own paint.

Turtle Wax continues to live up to its name and reputation. This product performed perfectly for the application. It was easy to apply, and removing it was just as simple. The shine came out beautiful and is still looking great. Turtle Wax has been a household name for years, and products like this show why. Easy to use, great results, and a finish that lasts. I would definitely recommend it!

I bought this to clean up the paint on my car, and it worked better than I expected. It did a great job removing oxidation and light imperfections, leaving the finish looking noticeably brighter and smoother. It was easy to apply, buffed off without much effort, and gave the paint a nice shine without leaving behind a greasy residue. I used this on my car covered with tree sap as you can see in the picture on the right. The hood after 1 sweep with my buffer and the Turtle Wax 50792 Renew Rx. I definitely would recommend this product. I can only do this in sections considering the 90 degree weather. I don't know who was sweating more, me or my car.

This product is GREAT, it brought back a faded hood to like new condition. I followed up with a good Turtle wax , and now this 21 year old vehicle looks like NEW.

Worjs great for removing scuff marks. Someone sideswiped my mirror today, and caused a white line and scuff mark. This product removed every visible sign. Hallelujah!

The compound works perfect for what I need it for. It's not a top quality like other brands but it definitely gets the job done. Although it is a cheaper brand you must take it off in a timely manner if not it will be a bit harder to take off once left on there too long.

it says to rub on scratches and on faded spots and it doesn't work. You can still see it . id like my money back . I really was hoping it would work. Nobody knows good stuff. this ain't it
