Uniden NZ5715 15 watt Extension Speaker Stereo Plug for Scanner & CB Compact

This speaker has good, full range (not tinny) sound that compliments the Uniden line of base/mobile scanners or other similar units (radios, other scanners, etc.). Great for use in mobile installations or in your communications shack, with scanners or radios installed in a stack where the speakers (generally on the bottom of the scanners and sometimes on the bottom or top of radios) are blocked. Overall a good speaker and Walmart has it for a good price.

great scanner speaker

every thing was good, price, store pickup, product was really good. the speaker is 100 percent better then the internal speaker that was in the scanner, the sound is not tiny or a high pitch, its sounds like a speaker you want to listen to.

This speaker is nicely built, tough, small, and loud enough. I purchased this speaker to go with a police scanner it didn't work. nothing wrong with the speaker the scanner just didn't have enough output power to run the speaker. So I kept it for my shortwave radio base unit and it works perfectly.

The speaker sounds great and has the noise filter to help cut down on static. It has styling that matches up nicely with my Uniden CB radio.

Sounds good but not standard size of most ext speakers. A little smaller. I would buy again.

not tinny, just hollow sounding. it works, its loud, its clear. just doesnt have a great sound. tried it on 3 different amateur radios and a cb, same result. a cheap set of computer speakers sound better.

Very low volume. Even lower than the speaker on my scanner. I bought it so I would be able to hear the broadcast better. It actually made it harder to hear.
