Works really easily and very small and easy to store fast to burn cds

It's a good Buy
added to home pc to view some outside records - inexpensive, easy to use, immediate compatibility with home pc - at this point have not used it for movies but assume will work well for that also.

Cord could/should be longer.
Unit worked 2 or 3 times, then stopped working. When plugged into USB port it just keeps clicking trying to start, continuous clicking, nothing else. My Dell computer no longer recognizes it and does not show as being connected. Piece of JUNK.
It doesnt even work. It gets picked up and classified as a disc drive by the computer but the drive itself doesnt even try to read the dvds. the green indicator light never lights up. it'll sometimes start reading the disc only to stop within secconds, and i know its not my dvds because these discs work just fine on my dvd player hooked up to my tv. the manual is incomprehensible due to being crappily translated from chinese. the lack of any brand identification means its impossible to look up any fixes.
Not compatible with my recent (since 2022) Mac computers.
