Salvaged all my documents, data, and old pictures.
This purchase allowed me to recover all documents, data and pictures from my old laptop, which had an unfortunate accident. The only salvageable parts were the hard drive and disc player. Now with this unit I am able to view all my old data (covering several years) using my newer 17 inch laptop. Much was on the old hard drive (old old photographs and addresses) not backed up. Oops on my part, but thankful now.

Perfect interface tool for hard-drive work.
This was the PERFECT Tool for transferring files from a dead computer's hard drive to my new machine. Worked perfectly for a great price. The 1-day delivery was a bonus.

Works great
Only thing I'd change up is adding a lil more length to the hard drive power cord. Some older hard drives it was kinda hard to reach around when it was connected upside down. But other then that it went flawless.

Kind of works
Could not read the 1st IDE drive but it worked on the 2nd one. still trying to get the SATA drive to work on it. Seems to be rather light and poorly constructed.
