Valterra SS01 The SewerSolution System & RV Waste Water Powered Jet Pump Kit

The Valterra Sewer Solution System completely changed how I handle dumping my RV tanks. Instead of wrestling with bulky, messy sewer hoses, this system uses a water-powered pump that macerates waste and sends it through a much smaller, manageable hose. It's cleaner, lighter, and far less stressful. Setup was straightforward, and the clear elbow makes it easy to see when the tanks are fully flushed. I especially appreciate that it allows pumping uphill and over longer distances, which gives much more flexibility when hookups aren't ideally placed. The included hose stores easily and doesn't have that lingering odor traditional sewer hoses are known for. The build quality feels solid, and after multiple uses it has performed consistently without leaks or clogs. It does take a little longer than a gravity dump, but the cleanliness and convenience more than make up for it. If you're tired of messy sewer hoses and want a more sanitary, compact, and efficient solution, the Valterra Sewer Solution System is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended for RVers who value cleanliness and convenience.

This was our 2nd one purchased after the first one lasted for 13 years. The original one still functions but had begun to leak as the gasket was worn out. Probably could have replaced it but given the material that flows through it, we replaced it. We have abot 50 feet to the sewer connection and this device gets it done.

This device enabled me to dump my tanks despite an arm injury. I did, though, have to buy an elbow extension to install it.

Absolutely works like a charm! If you're more than 10 feet away from the dump port, you'll need to buy an add'l hose. I got a 100' 3/4 inch contractors hose from Harbor freight and brass fittings to fit. Only had to adapt two pieces and it's hooked up.

Works as advertized. Works great. Nothing complicated to hook-up or use. I definitely reccommend this product. Powered with outside water source.

Not as easy and quick as advertised

Broken when opened on first use. Hairline crack on the plastic housing. Did not overtighten or twist too hard. Water sprayed out of the crack the instant I turned it on. Huge disappointment. Thankfully, I had not yet opened the blac tank valve yet. I will probably buy another one but these things are pretty low quality and the plastic is thin for the price. Make sure you test it first. Who knows maybe I just got one that slipped past QC.

I loved the concept, however when trying to connect the unit to the trailer sewer hose connection it came apart. Very disappointing that it was not well constructed, because it seems like a great idea.
