[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Valvoline 2-Cycle Multi-Purpose TCW-3 Motor Oil is extremely versatile in that it can be used, and includes the ratio chart, for any small engine machine utilizing 16:1, 32:1, 50:1 and 100:1 ratios. My trimmer uses a 50:1 ratio, so I simply measure out 3 ounces of this oil and mix it into 1 gallon of gasoline. With this bottle being 32 ounces, I can get 10 gallons of gasoline out of it, so needless to say it'll last a while and be a good value. The engine purrs like new, and there is no smoke burn-off of any kind. The only possible way to make this product better, if Valvoline was asking, would be to add a fuel stabilizer to counteract the harm that ethanol can cause and for longer-term storage.

Product was high compared to other retail stores

This oil meets the JASO FB standard, while that's a good starting point for a standard 2 cycle oil, this could be improved upon to meet higher standards of cleanliness and performance (namely meeting JASO FC and FD specifications).
