Wish I had them before ice storm hit! Perfect traction, not to much spike that you had to take them on %26 off to drive. I bought another pair that were a little different, the spikes are to aggressive so I will return those %26 buy another pair of these for my outside chore boots
The sidewalks in our neighborhood are in deplorable condition with thick ice and packed snow. I walk our dog every day and have been struggling to stay upright with my current old pair of ice cleats. When I fell three times in a week, I decided it was time to replace my current ice cleats. I bought these and couldn't be happier. Fortunately, these arrived on my porch a few minutes before I was going to walk the dog. I felt so much more secure in these. You can hear and feel them grab into the ice and I didn't fall even once. They went on my boots with ease and fit perfectly. I was so impressed with the traction I got with these cleats. Not once did I slip. So glad I bought them because now I don't dread the dog walks anymore. Wonderful.
With the recent ice/ snow event arriving I decided to search for some crampons. I live in VA so we get snow but not enough to freak out over normally. But they were forecasting ice so I ordered these very inexpensive ones. Naturally they were delayed arriving as everything was but we had several inches of almost solid ice! I tried to sled and basically slid on top of the ice, no way to stop, down my yard and across another pasture!! When these arrived we still had solid ice. I tried to go walking in them and I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to completely walk safely on top of the solid ice up and down hills without sliding at all! I am a 63 year old female, and am very aware of falling. I felt 100% comfortable and stable walking in these across said pastures and up and down slopes. If I decide to attempt Mt Everest then no. But occasional icy conditions absolutely YES!
After smaking the earth hard, twice in 2 days, from the recent ice cube storm, I searched and found these ice cleats. They fit my shoes well. Easy to put on and take off. Helped keep me up while walking the southeast high country Antarctica. Worth $25. Walmart shipped faster than others too, just sayin'
Size 13 shoe. They slipped on easily with a nice snug secure fit. They seem like a good quality rubber, very soft and pliable. I used them the first time tonight in about a half an inch of snow on asphalt. The traction was very good. I felt confident waling with them. They were very comfortable. I would say these are very effective on ice and no more than three quarters of an inch of snow as the cleats may not be long enough to pentrate to the ground through the snow. Overall, I recommend them. You're welcome.
The Ice Snow Cleats slipped on easily over my shoes and gave me traction while walking on icy sidewalks. They worked perfectly and well worth the low price I paid.
These are great!!! Simple pull-on and go. Saved me from spills I can't afford to take. These bite right into the ice and you can walk normally. Still keep in mind that you are on ice .
I live in alaska and these work great for the ice we've been getting. its helped my kids be able to safely walk outside. A little tough to get on and off for younger kids but my teens do just fine.
I was really upset when they arrived at my address ,their was never a spot to order a size,I got little kids size small, and needed a size medium, Walmart wouldn't take back because of different manufacturers, but would like a replacement in a size medium, that would be great.
I ordered 2 pairs : one large and one medium and I only received the large pair so very disappointed. Agnes Schrider
