Vegas Vacation [Blu-ray]

To start this wasn't a movie I really intended on buying in HD but I've been on the fence about for a while and decided to pull the trigger. My wife loves it, it's her comfort movie she watches in our bedroom almost every night. For movie buffs on the fence whether or not you want to complete the series with all hd releases, don't hesitate. This is a surprising treat from WB that blew my mind. What I'm loving here is how filmic it looks. Grain has not been removed, it's beautiful and even throughout, I was quite happy. it was shot on the film stock and should look that way and not it was filmed last week on digital or waxed to death like upscaled discs. While You maybe underwhelmed by how the grain makes the movie less razor sharp as if it were upscaled or scrubbed, that's how it's supposed to look. I recommended reading the Blu-ray review online, it speaks for itself. Honestly a bargain for a movie to be transferred in this way from the film. for it to have the filmic integrity in tact makes this a worth while watch even if you've seen it 1000000 times or even if it isn't your favorite. Highly recommended

great anytime flick

This a movie that is "rewatchable" for sure every so often. The cast has great chemistry. The only movie I would rate higher in the "Vacation" franchise is "Christmas Vacation". The blu ray is definitely worth the little extra. This was a very reasonable cost to begin with. If you like the movie or if you never saw it and want a great movie experience, just add to the cart. Make sure it's shipped and sold by Walmart (or GRUV-NBC/UNI). I got same two day delivery - great service as always.

The original Vacation %26 Christmas Vacation are my faves ins the series but wanted to have the whole series and this is a fun watch.
