Veggetti really turns veggies into spiral "pasta" and it's so easy to use. There are many great things about this product and I recommend it! I have only used this with zucchini and it works perfectly as shown. I am so pleased with this product that I have purchased several to give as gifts. Those recipients have been so pleased they in turn have purchased additional veggettis to give as gifts themselves. If you are interested in more than zucchini "pasta" there are tons of veggetti recipes on Pinterest. This is as easy to clean as it is fun to use. I wish this would have been available when my children were small. You can bet they both have one now!
I absolutely love this item. It's small. It doesn't take that much space in your kitchen. It is so easy to use! It's incredible with making zucchini noodles or yellow squash noodles, I sautéed them and they come out beautifully. It's very easy to clean. I've used it several times since I bought it. The blades are sharp. I even did a sweet potato in it. I look forward to experimenting more and creating other things.
I don't normally write reviews, but this little tool amazed me. So easy to use. I made zucchini pasta two ways. Once with the skin on it and the next time with the skin peeled off. I preferred mine peeled off. It only takes a few minutes to make a full bowl of pasta. A couple a minutes in the microwave and it's ready to go. I can think of a lot of other things I will be able to us this for.
I'm very excited to use this, I heard so many great reviews on this product. what led me to purchase Veggetti was there was only ONE veggie pasta (Birds Eye Zucchini pasta) available at Walmart but I was looking to buy a variety of them because I know they make them. will enjoy using Veggetti because it will save me tons of money making my own veggie pastas plus it will help my family and I live a healthier lifestyle consuming healthier foods by using Veggetti.
This little tool works perfectly - I would highly recommend it to a friend, in fact I already have. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and it came with a recipe book. Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
Although I think this gadget is entirely too small I do like it. It does exactly what it says it will do giving you ribbons of the veggies you choose to use. As I said I wish it was bigger as not all vegetables are the same size and when you grow a garden you get a large variety of shapes and sizes. Therefore, it is time consuming with a gadget this small but it is effective and does the job. I would say try it as you can always return to Walmart, but I think once you try it you will keep it.
Veggie noodles came out perfect. Orange color from carrots stained inside, even after washing & scrubbing. Smaller than I expected but overall product did what was advertised.
This is my second veggetti. I used it the other day to make spaghetti with zucchini. It makes great spirals. Then I put sauce and parmesan cheese on top for a low carb dish. It was very good. The tool is very easy to use and clean.
Unfortunately, this "spiralizer" didn't spiralize anything. First off the strands are flat like fettucine, not round like spaghetti. There were no spirals, it was more like thin ribbons and julienne cuts. I did not get one strand out of it since they kept breaking off after about a few turns and I ended up with a bunch of 1"-2" pieces (reminded me of coleslaw). Then there was a bunch of mush left in the middle of it which was difficult to get out since there are exposed blades in that area. I would give it a 0 if I was allowed because it did not perform as it states and the hazard of cutting fingers just to try to clean it.
