Micro Touch One Classic Safety Razor - As Seen on TV

Great shave from the best razor I've owned in the last 50 years. Finally a blade you can clean when you rinse between strokes. Makes the wife happy because I don't use her toothbrush to clean between the 5 blades that clog on every stroke. Solid great feel with no flexable head. Allows the blade to stay in contact with your chin.

The handle is exactly as it was years ago, so no fault of its own. For me personally the shorter, slick to my hands handle is a little harder to use than the throw-a-ways I have been buying. I need to use it more so it can become a more natural feel/hold for me. But first time out, I didn't nick/cut myself. I like the fact I can open the blade area a bit and wash out the longer beard hairs and then continue to use the same blade. Whereas my other razors had multiple blades which would clog up and not rinse out those longer hairs.

Razors are SO expensive! So I figured I would try this one. It is the same price as a pack of my regular razors so it can't hurt to give it a try, even if it is sold for men. Read the instructions! You do hold it slightly different from a regular razor. I was a little scared of cutting myself when I started. It really is a learning curve. Once I had used it a few times I was not as worried. I shaved my legs and underarms and it worked just as good as my expensive venus razors. The replacement blades are so much cheaper, definitely worth the buy. I can see it working great for men. It is well made sturdy metal, no complaints there.

Besides my straight edge blade this is the only other way to shave. A man's razor!!! Safety blades are not as close as a single blade which has been used for centuries!

I am old fashion.So i like the double edge blade.Thats what i grew up using,and i'm glad i could still use this kind of razor.I recommend it highly.

So far I have not received a good quality shave. I think my problem is the razor blades are not very sharp. I feel I'm pulling the hairs out instead of cutting them. I plan to try another brand of blades (not too many companies sell them). My second concern is that the razor feels top heavy. Maybe the handle needs to be a little longer to fit better in my hand.
