Veradek Block Series Span Medium 30" Plastic Planter - Black

It's great but not inexpensive. Seems good quality. Hope it lasts in cold weather. I put heavy bricks in the bottom as we are in a windy location, and it fell off a 3' high deck.

Great planter! It has a metal shelf that you can use so you don't have to fill the entire planter with dirt. That feature is very helpful from a cost standpoint (don't have to buy as much dirt) as well as an ease of installation standpoint (can move the planter box much easier as it weighs less). Depending on what kind of dirt you buy and whether you fill the entire planter up with dirt, a filled planter box can be very heavy. Veradek planters (I have 6) look great, they truly add a big wow factor to your yard! They are not inexpensive--but neither are the planters sold by competitors though either. The planter also comes with insulation (styrofoam) that protects plants. All the Veradek planters that I have are metal, with the insulation installed. I don't know if the insulation is why, but the pansies that I planted in my original Veradek planter boxes 2 years ago have not died off, and I live in a zone 5 planting area. The gray is very dark (looks black) but lightens up when the sun is hitting it. I also have the black planters. I probably like the black ones better. The gray planters and the black planters are on different sides of my house, so I never see them together. The dimensions in the description of this planter were not correct when I purchased my gray ones. The ones shown were for the medium size planter, not the small one. I found this out when the planters were shipped to me. Walmart took care of that problem immediately and with absolutely no hassle. Thank you Walmart!

Sturdy- true white- easy to light and move yet very sturdy. Made of high quality material- was a great price! I would buy again.

I absolutely love this planter box! The color is perfect and matches all of my outdoor decor. There are 3 plugs at the bottom for the release of excess water. I only unplugged 2 as the middle one was broken off and I couldn't get it out of the hole as you can see in one of the photos, it does not take away from the value of this planter, just a slight inconvenience. The interior isn't as deep as the planter itself while saves on planting materials. This planter is stunning and is the highlight of my backyard. Well worth every penny.

I haven't gardened in years due to the fact of space. I received this gardening box and checked it over before going to get soil and flowers. I love that it has drainage holes so I don't have to worry about over watering my flowers. I was able to fit 6 smaller type flowers in it and it looks so pretty!

This Veradek Block Series rectangular shape planter is so gorgeous. It is sturdy built and looks very elegant. The material used and the design is clean and morden. It doesn't look bulky but it actually carries a generous space to plant at least 3 medium size plants with it.

This Veradek block Series planter measures 12x30 x24. It is a hard plastic planter with holes for drainage on the bottom of the planter and on the bottom of the area which holds the plants. It has a modern look. We are still deciding where to put it and what to plant

We installed this product in a corporate office and love the lines and form of it; very good design and quality. However, the packaging didn't protect it very well and we had to return twice because metal was dented. With the volume of things being shipped, manufacturers and distributors need to account for carriers not taking care with things and protect them on the inside more.

I am so happy with my new planter! I love plants and gardening both indoor and outdoors and couldn't wait to set up this Veradek Block Series Span Planter. I decided to put mine outside on one of my small decks. I love that is simple but stylish. I also love that its all-weather resistant, fade and also scratch resistant making this planter great for many years to come. Another feature I really like is that you don't need to fill it all the way with potting soil because of the "false bottom". The bottom also has 2 removable plus to allow drainage. Very light planter and easy to move around (before filling with soil) and very sturdy. Very happy with this planter!

I'm really torn on how to write this review! I love this planter and it looks great on my deck! But for the price I expected better quality. I filled it with soil and planted my flowers and the next day I noticed that part of the top has started to separate from the pot. So far it isn't obvious but I really hope it doesn't get worse! Otherwise it is HUGE! Really double check your space measurements before ordering. It's heavy enough to be sturdy but light enough to move around. Large drainage holes in the bottom and a large deep area for good plant root growth.
