Veradek Pure Series Railing 36" Plastic Planter - Black

We have 4 of these hanging over the edge of our deck rail. They are very sturdy, easy to mount and assemble. The drain well and are perfect for deck plants. We put plants that help keep mosquitos away in them and some herbs in 1 and so far, no issues with them.

These are amazing. The same exact window boxes are available through West Elm for double the price. I have had many window boxes over the years, but these are the first that I wasn't afraid that they would fall off. Love Veradek and the multipack option at Walmart. They fit well on narrow modern railings (just turn the bracket around) and have drainage holes with stoppers.

Very sturdy - great quality! Not difficult to assemble. Nice and deep, meaning that plants should thrive because there's plenty of planting mix for root growth.

The length and depth are very good, but it is SO heavy, my son-in-law has not put it on the railing yet, but I think its going to be great.

I am very pleased with these planters. They are very well made and they look classy. Like other reviews mention, you should drill out the middle section hole for good drainage. Also, consider using some lightweight filler in the bottom (empty plastic bottles, pool noodle, etc.,) since the planters are so large.

These look great, but I've only had them up for a week and they are already bending where the clips hold them to the rail.

I thought the box would have an inner shelf which would hold the planting mix and not allow the plant roots to sit in water. There are shelf brackets in the box; but no shelf. Now what should I do? I hired a handy man to put it together. And it is too heavy for me to return to Walmart

Didnt give me all the parts to hang the planter When I washed it off before I hung it the finish washed off. It was like they put shoe polish on the outside of the planter to make it look like the picture That was strike two and it is a very heavy planter Im going to take the two I bought back and get my money back

Leveling bar pre drilled holes do not line up appropriately to install. Have to go through the trouble of returning. If you don't need the leveling bar, these are beautiful for a nice price.
