These handrails are affordable and vary sizes are available to accommodate the required steps. The renovator stated the standard is to mount the rails 30 inches above each step.
Each piece was carefully wrapped. Everything was there. It would have been nice to have better instructions but we put it up with no problems. Looks really nice. We had already installed a smaller on vertical at the door and matches perfectly. Strong and secure.
Solid railing! Had one screws strip for me, so good experience! ..watch out for those squirrly Fedex folks and others ...he slammed my railings on porch..

Exactly what I was looking for.
Seems like a solid product overall. But screws included are not wood screws, they're expansion screws meant for drywall (I don't recommend attaching this to drywall; false sense of security). The screws appear to be made out of aluminum; we were driving one into a stud, and the head of the screw broke off. Also, installation can be tricky. Because of the way the pipes are threaded, it's not practical to install the mounts first and then assemble the railing onto the mounts. Instead, we fully assembled it before mounting. But when it's fully assembled, access to some of the screw holes in the mounts are blocked, so we had to tighten some screws at awkward angles. Maybe, there's an easier way, but it wasn't obvious or intuitive to us, and the assembly/installation instructions that come with product are minimal. Despite all the hassle, for the price it was a good deal.
nice item. does require some skill to get tje railing parts in proper alignment. better if it were in one piece.
Used these on our outdoor stairs. Due to an odd post, we had to change out one of the supports but normal black pipe fittings from the store work perfectly. They look great but dropped a star as they scratch fairly easily and the scratch instantly rusts outside.
3 feet = 36 inches, not 32 inches
