Even better quality than expected. No smell at all!! Expanded to full size in less than 24 hours. It is just the right firmness for me. Couldn't be happier!
This was purchased for my Mom to use while living in an Assisted Living Facility. With it arriving vacuum packed was a plus for us to be able to transport it and set up. It is well made and soft - which is what she was wanting. This mattress was on-sale when I purchased it and truly what I was looking for. I was not disappointed %26 neither was my Mom.
I'm a side sleeper with scoliosis, so I need a nicely firm mattress. That way, I'm not in pain just from sleeping. My husband has lower back pain from an accident years ago. this matress is firm enough that it provides great support yet soft enough that it's comfy and not like laying on bricks.
I ordered this mattress in a box after watching the struggle of a queen sized mattress come down the stairs. This one is thicker than most and does not require a box spring. Super comfortable and easy to unroll. It does take a few hours to fully fluff up. So happy with this purchase.
It's hard to buy a mattress online without feeling or seeing it and just going off of reviews because everyone has a different opinion. To start, the mattress is shipped in a box that shows what it is. Not great if you live in a big city with thieves and aren't home to help the delivery person because it's 109 lbs in the box. Second, it IS comfortable. Even for heavier people. You sink in just right and are held in that position due to the memory foam. It does deter you from tossing and turning because it's hard to move around on due to that memory foam and sinking. It props the body up just right no matter what position you sleep. I am a side sleeper and tummy sleeper and it's so perfect. It is advised as more on the plush side, which I disagree with. It's more on the firm side but not too firm. If you use a mattress protector sheet and pillow top topper sheet it is plush. But definitely a good mattress for side sleepers. As for the decompression and plumping up, it was great. It decompressed easily and evenly. It says to allow 24-48 hours to fully puff up. This is true and also not. If you live in a colder area it won't fully puff up. The warmer the room the better it will expand. It also continues to expand while you are not sleeping on the bed each day. It is in fact 13 inches broken into 4-7 foam layer to give it that cooling effect. I got the mattress in less than 2 days via FedEx. The overall experience was great. You can accomplish getting the bed in the house and getting it out of the package with just one person but it is hard. They recommend 2-3 people which I agree with. It would make it easier. I would definitely recommend as a cheaper alternative than most mattresses with the same effect. It also comes with a 10 year limited Warranty, Keep your receipts!
Much more firm than item has described. Too firm and my back is sore from one night on it. Also, other comments about the strong odor are on point. It smells super chemically bad. I am sure this will dissipate with time, but it woke me every time I turned over during the night. I can't imagine what kind of chemicals they used to make this thing if it has such a strong odor. I would not buy it if I knew.
I am an overweight, tall person. I spent the first day just trying to get onto the mattress without sliding off. There is no edge support whatsoever. I finally was able to figure out to use my stair-stepper to brace myself enough to launch myself onto the bed. After several days, I still cannot "climb the hill" to comfortably get into the center of my bed. I sleep alone, so thank the lord I don't need to share this full-sized bed. I'm getting used to it and I definitely get an additional workout getting into bed. I will say, as a positive, that I haven't slept so well in a long time. Once settled, it is very comfortable, although I can no longer manage to get into position to sleep on my side. I have no choice but to get along with it, but I am very disappointed. AT least the price was reasonable.
You get what you pay for! While I am in the process of working with Vibe for a replacement, their customer service has gone silent. I allowed the mattress 72 hours to recover from the compression packaging in which it was delivered. The image is how it remains, two weeks later. Now I need to make a decision, continue to wait for the replacement Vibe claims should have been shipped last week (but has not arrived, no tracking number given, no follow-up emails answered....or attempt to haul back a king-sized mattress to Walmart. Save yourself the trouble and find a different brand.
This mattress will not expand. I opened it as soon as it was delivered. I have been trying for 3 weeks to return it. The freight won't pick it up without it being in a box. Its half expanded so there is no way it is going back in the box. Walmart is no help and neither is the freight company. I would give both the item and walmart negative stars if I could.
I ordered and paid for a Queen mattress but got Twin, labeled as a Queen. Somebody went through a lot of trouble to take my money. I can't send it back because I am disabled. So, WM took my money, found a way to label a twin as a queen, and leave me without a mattress and $200 poorer.
