Vibrant Life Large Blue Sifting Hooded Enclosed Cat Litter Box

Both of my cats insist on urunating in the corners of the litterbox; one of them was notorious for overshooting the box and urinating on the wall or floor. THIS solves that problem completely (well at least the missing the box part) I don't use the strainer insert and got rid of it as well as the extra pan. This extra large size is ideal for multi cat households.

The sifting part does not work. when you go to sift the nasty litter goes everywhere. So I removed that part and did away with it. I'm using it like a plain litter box and my cats love it that way that's why I gave it five stars initially. if you're buying this for the sifting feature you probably won't like it.

Over all is good quality but I would not have purchased it if I had realized there is an inner tray that MUST be used in order for the lid to attach. Since I use clumping litter, I do not want a bottom screening tray. Have gotten around the problem in part by filling with lots of litter so don't pull out the bottom tray but would have purchased a different model had I known the lid would only close with it inside.

Overall its a wonderful litter box. (I now have 2x of these simple to clean boxes.) The Full dome cover w/the door flap makes it much more difficult for a cat to throw litter about. (highly recommend a litter catch mat combo) Only complaint is a very weak handle %26 lid latch area. When having ample litter for the cat(s) to burry their mess, it becomes Too heavy for the top making either its handle break or lid latch/latches buckling. BOTH of the cat boxes have weak lids in one way or another but keeping the litter mess down %26 easy cleaning of cat's messes make it hard not to like this concept.

Missing sifting pan. Only 2 bottom pans. They were zip tied upon delivery so I'm not sure if it was missed at the factory or if someone took the sifting pan at the store tied the other 2 bottom pans but the sifting pan in the picture is definitely missing

I thought “$23, how can I go wrong?” That's $23 I wish I still had. It's like they went out of their way to make this thing as thin and fragile as possible. I put it together, put the kitty litter in it, and the first time a cat went in the door fell off. The door has fallen off every time anything has come in contact with it. Nothing wrong with the incredibly fragile microscopic hinge mold they have put in it. It's just trash. All of the plastic is super thin and brittle.

I bought these to make it easier to clean their litter boxes, but it's now practical at all. The feces sticks to the grate and it's horrible , it says you can use it without bags , I am going to try but to do that u have to put the litter inside the bag and it won't sift the litter properly when u have to clean. I am not please at all and its not cheep even through Walmart $30 and that's for the smaller one. If u have multiple cats I do not recommand it. Wish I could get my money back but it's been a couple months now because I was giving it a chance to see if it would work. 😢😔

I got it out and the cats started to use it the door fell off the front of it and the clasp on the side was already missing so it has one missing class and the door is gone cuz it just they walked in and if moved and it just fell down inside the litter box so no I wouldn't buy that or recommend it

the clasps meant to hold the hood down don't work. only two clasp at all, one won't clasp and one was broken when it arrived. the cat pee easily goes between the hood and the base even near the clasps that do work because the hood and base fit so loosely. the inner pan that you're supposed to be able to lift out to easily scoop is not easy dump, so it's easier and less of a mess to just scoop it like a normal box. would not buy again.

I've had to buy a six or seven of these repeatedly because the handles in the lid break on them and that's ridiculous cause they went from being like $17 to 30 or 35 now so each time one of these things break that's it and it's so stupid. These are the cheapest most worthless piece of crap cat litter boxes in the world don't buy one..
