Vibrant Life Multicolor Duck Latex Dog Toy with Squeaker, Chew Level 3

My dog went crazy over this rubber duck. When I first gave it to him I swear he thought it was alive. The rubber quivers slightly when it hits the floor and it gives the appearance that it is moving. He played with it for 4 hours non stop on the first day. I went back and got a 3 pack just in case he chewed the squeaker out. He still has the original one so I gave some to friends for their dogs who also reported that it is their dogs favorite toy.

I was looking for a toy to throw outside for my dog to retrieve for play and exercise, something that I could fling, something that could easily be washed off, and this duck fit the bill, pun intended. The quack sound is just icing on the cake and I like it as much or more than my dog, it makes me smile. I understand how the quacker/grunter may be tempting for many dogs to want to chew on and remove, it's easy to access. I need to say this, you have to teach your dog not to go after the squeaker or harm their toys on purpose, they will learn to only chew on items intended for that purpose if you teach them what they can chew on and what they can't. They will need lots of items to chew on like nyla-bones etc., rather than a soft toy they need to be easy on. It will help so much in the long run and you and your dog will be happier. There will be accidents but be consistent and patient. OK, back to the duck toy. It is latex and very nicely colored like a real duck, it has held up well so far after being thrown and retrieved for several weeks now and is easy to wash off if it gets muddy. It flies reasonably well when thrown and lands with a splat and sometimes a quack, I enjoy that. I have found that the easiest way to throw it is unfortunately by its neck and I feel a little bad about that, but it works best. The noise it makes can be loud and sometimes sounds like a quack and sometimes a crow caw. I haven't noticed any damage to the toy yet from my dogs teeth, a few slight indentations but no rips or tears yet. If something happens to the quacker/grunter in the future from throwing it, it won't effect the usefulness of a toy to retrieve but I might miss it talking back. I'm going to order another one as a back-up in case they aren't available in the future. I recommend it, but know your dog and make sure they have items that they can chew on when they need to along with the ones they have to be easier on and give them guidance to know the difference.

our boxers love this toy. great value for the money. nice size toy. very durable for the tough chewers. noise level not too bad. 10/10 recommend this one. will not disappoint

My puppy was scared of it at first but now it's her favorite toy, she plays with it for hours. She's a grade 10 chewer but this toy is very durable. Great value for money. Love it!

my dogs love it but. it noisy i sound like some passing gas and two it smell like fish when u get close to it but as long as my dogs are happy then i happy

Jake and I. both love these ducks.Jake plays with them for hours. It keeps him entertained and out of trouble for a while. They are tough to tear up. But. he manages. I highly recommend it . .

My 38-pound husky mix had the squeaker out of the duck in 20 minutes and swallowed parts of it. She vomited huge amounts about an hour later and had diarrhea for a couple of days. Definitely not suitable for chewers. In 6 years, my dog has not chewed anything that she was not given to chew, so I do not consider her a super chewer.

Looked like it would be good. Usually the latex toys last. I specifically only buy them because rubber or teddy ones get ripped or squeakers fold in and stop working. My pup loves the noisy toys. Well, I placed a pickup order so I wasn't able to see how it was made. There's like a crinkle straw sticking out the bottom of it that the dog easily gets out. It's hard plastic, dangerous for a dog to get, as the sharp plastic can cause damage. Within minutes it was ruined. It would be good if the squeaker was inside and covered, not sticking out. For the price, I'm not happy. I've bought cheaper or similarly priced toys and they lasted longer. The chicken toys like this had a low number chew level and lasted way longer, and he had more fun with this. It had a better chew level, so I chose it when I was going to buy another chicken. I wish I had just bought the one he's already had. Don't waste your money. Pics of the straw coming out and cotton and it out of it. It's a large duck, not meant for little dogs, and junk for large dogs.

It broke within a couple of minutes of my dog getting his paws on it. The squeak contraption flew out and it no longer squeaks!!
