The trunk has an aged look with nice carving and coloring that makes it look authentic. The coins are shiny gold. Fish can enter from the side or back of the chest's lid, and it gives them a secure hiding spot. Great for my fish and for me. Recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added a treasure chest to my fish tank recently, and it instantly leveled up the whole vibe! It gives off those fun, piratey underwater adventure feels that make the tank more dynamic and eye catching my fish love it too as well. It's pretty durable I attached it to my air pump to blow bubbles . Only down side is cleaning it regularly to avoid algae build up.

It is much smaller in person than it looks in pictures just a little bit too small for my smallest fish to fit inside of, but it looks cool in the tank. Just make sure you rinse off before you put it in the tank.

This chest was darker than I expected. our tank's algae will make it even darker. Nice idea, but will pass on this one.
