I have always been skeptical of these. We had a mouse chew through a trash bag in our garage. I received this as a Walmart Spark Reviewer item. Since plugging this our garage, I have not seen any sign of mice. I will be purchasing more for the inside of the house.
I am sure this pest chaser works wonderfully. I have chipmunks and other forest type rodents around my house yearly. My dog goes crazy over the chipmunk he chases. Now that I have activated the Pest Chaser, there's much less barking. I believe it's really repelling rodents from my area. I won't complain and I definitely recommend it to anyone who's not a pest lover.
Thank you for this opportunity to review this item. We've had a few mice in the house. It works great to keep them out. I really don't like the mice. I have a daughter that is afraid of them as well as my Grandkids are afraid of them. Than you again for this opportunity to review this item.
I was very skeptical after using a couple other "ultrasonic repellers" with poor results. This one actually seems to work. I installed it in my garage, and it really seems to have mode a difference. I live in The Mississippi Delta, so there is a pest bonanza to deal with. The garage actually seems to be virtually pest free.
I am using this device in my garage to prevent mice or other pests from entering during the winter months when they like to seek shelter from the cold. It's not too large and can fit most places. It kind of looks like a speaker so it doesn't draw attention like some traps and other devices do. It's designed for indoor use only. It's also not supposed to cause any issues for domestic pets that ARE NOT in the rodent family. If you have pet mice, guinea pigs, gerbils or even ferrets I would talk to your veterinarian before using it. It has a 6 foot cord so it can be plugged in and place behind something but, be careful the cord is out of the way so nobody trips on it. I like it because it's made to deter them which means no capture and no human contact.
I use this in my shop in attempts to keep mice out and away from my shop. It is a nice alternative for customers/visitors to not see a live trap. The packaging says it does not travel through walls, furniture or curtains. It includes a 6 foot cord and costs less than a penny a day to operate. It uses no chemicals or poisons. It's frequency cannot be heard from humans or non rodents. This item is ideal for garages, attics and basements. It is designed for use against a wall or in a corner. It has 2 powerful speakers for maximum coverage. It also has a power light to let you know it's on and working. I like the tiem and hold high hopes in it helping me keep mice away that are wanting to find shelter for the winter.
This rodent chaser is quite large. It's best used against a wall or in a corner of a large room. The suggested areas of use are a garage, basement, attic, living room or kitchen. It has a 6 foot power cord. It makes a mild humming sound while on and has a red light that lights up to let you know when it's on. It claims to use only penny's per day as far as your electric bill and recommends to plug into a 110V-AC wall outlet. It has no chemicals and is pet friendly. I haven't noticed any mice while using this.
Got this about a week ago, and I actually have had a pesky mouse lurking around... so once I received this we put it in the area we have seen mouse droppings and also set a few random traps. Now this item is supposed to keep the mice at bay, but it lured them in! We caught two mice within a 8 hour period! I don't recommend, and it's kind of bulky and has a bright red light that is rather annoying. The cord may be a standard length, but seems rather short to me. Definitely not a fan of this...
These do not work at all. You have to get several ot says for this to work but I seen a mouse walk right in front of this. So no ot does not keep them away. The sound is like a humming you can here from certain refrigerators. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
It quit working after 8hpurs.
