I love this controller just got into street fighter 6 and it's helped with faster input, not really any downsides the D pads is pretty sensitive but that's definitely not a bad thing
The PDP BFG Controller for the PS5 is great. I don't know what all the fuss is about this controller. I have had no problems with using it and I actually use it more than my OG Dual Sense. I like that I can choose the clickiness of the triggers from a full throw to an immediate click. I also like the back paddles/buttons. The back buttons are easy to reach and are very responsive. I like that I can switch the thumb sticks position from an Xbox controller like setup with the offset thumb sticks and switch to a PS5 like setup with the thumb sticks next to each other. I just really like this controller!
This is what my son really wanted for Christmas along with one of his friends who is getting one too I paid less for it through this website then I would have on Amazon and so far it is a winning controller for him. I didn't realize it came with a cute little carrying case so that's a plus also thank you
As my first gaming controller i had high expectations and this controller delivered the customization is the best part I habe it as a Xbox controller configuration and its so much better not having the analog stick right next to each other . The battery last forever as well hopefully it last a long time !
Had it for five weeks now. Bought this to play fighting games, but now I use it for every game. Awesome controller. Feels durable and the buttons, triggers, and sticks all feel good. Love the extra accessories like the fps stick, button module and dpad faces. I also love that they have the option to buy the button modules to replace in the future if needed. Software is not exactly perfect but it is almost there, would be nice to see a battery percentage indicator at least.
This is a gift for my son's Christmas. So not able to review product itself. Sorry. But the company is spot on. Very conscientious of their customers and shipping as quickly as they can. Responds to emails quickly. Customer service kind and respectful. After the holidays will gladly give an accurate detailed review of the product. Please send again after Christmas. Kind regards!
I absolutely love this controller. The overall "feel" of the controller (grips, shape, weight, etc.) is comfortable. I would give it 5-Stars, but the only issue is the "Xbox Home Button". Some times I will click it to take a screenshot or capture a video of what I just did in a game and the controller will register that I held it in so the options "Turn off Console. Turn off Controller. (and/or) Restart Console." appear. It's not everytime and it's not very frequent, but only some times. I noticed it's usually the first time I press it after turning on the controller and kind of rarely while gaming. Overall, it's an amazing controller.
Controller quit working a month after we bought it as a Christmas present for our son. Filled out a return authorization on Walmart.com and received an email saying to return it to our local Walmart for a refund. Took it back to Walmart within the warranty period and we were told we had to contact the seller since it was purchased from Walmart.com. Tried to contact the seller multiple times and they never responded. Walmart did nothing to make it right. Beware of Walmart.com purchases.
When I first got the controller I was hesitant about it. . it was and still is hard to get used to. Instructions are only online and you have to download them and sort through the different languages instead of selecting the language you want. After not very long of using the product, it has quit working completely.
The dpad is pretty trash and not tactile like I was hoping, nor is it clear on when I'm hitting diagonal (I've tried all 3 options). I'll press pretty firmly and it'll still say I'm pressing only one direction. I wish I could put a better left side module with tactile buttons instead of the dpad (the right and left side modules can't be swapped to have ABXY/Fighter on the left mapped as dpad directions). The Fighter attachment is nice, but games sometimes need the right stick and the module swap takes a bit of time, so it's not very hot-swap friendly to compensate. The remapping software isn't on par with something like Razer Synapse, you can't map simultaneous buttons to one input, and you can't adjust the trigger sensitivity (even the slightest press will send an input and the software settings don't change it). I have to do all that in Steam's options. Not worth $200, and with the dpad as poor as it is, I'd say it wasn't even worth the $100 I paid. . .
