Vitakraft MENU Premium Nutrition Timothy Pellet Rabbit Food 2.75lbs

I bought this to help out some young wild rabbits during the harshest part of the Winter season. It smells very fresh, and they ate it and seemed to like it. Birds, including crows leave it alone, so only squirrels compete for it. Simple, straightforward ingredients are a plus.

I live in Alabama and I just found a rabbit on the back porch. So I took it in and have been trying to make sure he's ok. I needed food for him fast and cheap. This was a great treat for the price.

Great price, great packaging, bunny loves... what more can I ask for. Only downside is amount of pellet dust at the bottom, but not the biggest deal.

We purchased this brand of rabbit food because Walmart no longer sold the other brand we had always used. I noticed our bunny loved this food, in fact she started eating a lot more food than she used to! Initially I thought this food was great, she loved it, right?! Until we noticed something was off with our rabbit. The shape of her poo was no longer standard rabbit pellet poo, some were extra large, some tiny, some mis-shapen, some liquid. She was also bleeding while pooing. She was lethargic and didn't want to leave her enclosure anymore, she had always been a happy and active pet. She began to have large poo clods stuck to her bottom that we had to clean off with warm water. She was depressed, I had never seen her depressed, but there was no mistaking what this animal was trying to communicate. I got her off this food immediately and switched to a different one. Within a few days of being off this food she was no longer depressed, but it took 2-3 weeks for her to return to her normal self, and even now we are still trying to get her digestive issue regulated. This food did a number on our rabbit and I can't believe it is now sold as the standard in all the Walmarts near us. This should be removed from shelves! Do not buy this food.
