Vitamix Ascent Series A2500 Blender, Black

After muhh deliberation I decided to invest in a vitamix and I am not disappointed. I wish I had bought it sooner. I use mine multiple times a day and it blends brilliantly. Much better than any blender I've had in the past and it's really helping me adopt a whole foods healthy diet.

I bought this vitamix blender a few weeks ago it's my very best friend in the kitchen now love it amazing product .

Just love this new machine. So solid and works through fruit vege ice etc with ease. We have been using daily as rinses easily or dishwasher clean - could not be easier. Made quick hot soup the other night ..... dips easy and of course smoothies each day. Planning Xmas day cocktails !

After six months of thinking about it and researching, I bought a white A2500. It is beautiful, so happy I chose white. I make a smoothie with fruits and vegetables daily and use the preset button. Best part is walking away and knowing that in 50 secs my breakfast smoothie is perfectly made! I also make a lot of nut-based sauces and baked goods, and have been very impressed so far with the results. Basically it has eliminated the need to use my food processor. I recommend checking out the recipe book that comes with the A2500, I've made five of the recipes and they were excellent, especially the soups and the vegan cheese sauce! When people tell you that a Vitamix is a life game-changer, it's actually true!

I purchased the A2500 model a little over a month ago and overall I am quite pleased with it. In retrospect, however, I should have saved $50 and purchased the A2300 model. The 3 programs that are on the 2500 are really of little value other than when you use them the machine shuts itself off when the cycle is done. In all honesty I wouldn't miss that feature if I didn't have it. The unit is quite loud but not a surprise since the motor is so powerful. Seems to be very well built.

This is my first high tech blender and it is just amazing! For anyone who is deciding between a juicer or a Vitamix, this was a clear winner for me. I've bought two juicers in the past, one was a centrifuge and one was a masticating one. Both had its pros and cons but eventually I got tired of the clean up process; it took at least 15 mins to prep and clean up and if you do that every morning, you get tired of doing it. So I ended up throwing out both. I bought this and the clean up process takes 1 MINUTE. All you do is rinse And clean with a little soap and that's it. It has the consistency of a juicing if you add more water. And bonus, you get fiber that would be lost in a juicer. Highly recommend.

Pros: It's by far the best way to eat vegetables as a meal. For me, it will make a positive difference in my general health. It also makes great smoothies. Cons: It's expensive! To me, the pre-programmed settings are "near" unnecessary because the recipes are really simple. Finaly, it is so noisy that I will not make early smoothies in respect to my neighbors.

My machine arrived about two months ago and I am impressed how smooth the juice made by Vitamix is! I have made juice and smoothie and all work good. It just makes really loud sound and wake everyone up in the morning. It is okay to make juice since it only takes like a minute but if making soup from scratch with the machine, it takes like 5-10 minutes and my family can't stand it(We live in an average sized house but it is still pretty loud) . I still recommend this product to people who would like to drink good juice and smoothies at home.

I knew it was going to be expensive. I bit the bullet and got one and I use it almost every day. It's everything I ever hoped it would be. Some days I use it more than once. I make smoothies, acai bowls, hummus, pesto, almond milk, lots of different soups, and desserts. Very easy and fast to clean up. I have roommates, though, so the noise issue means no early morning smoothies for me. I looked into getting a cover to make it quieter, but those cost more than the Vitamix, itself. The great warranty made the price a little easier to stomach, and people keep commenting on how good I look. I think it's in part because I'm eating more fruits and veggies!

Putting your Vitamix on the counter to show it off would be great after spending over $700.00 to buy it but not the way the container reacts after only one month of use. The fact that this problem has been ongoing for quite awhile (and the most frequent complaint to Vitamix) makes me wonder. It turns a foggy grey - to clean it we started with the Vitamix cleaning method, then vinegar and water, bleach and water, denture capsule and water, CLR and water and finally a Mr. Clean magic pad and a lot of elbow grease. We are now using the Vitamix method after every use with warm water, vinegar, water and drying it by hand - not as we were cleaning it after every use in warm soapy water and air drying. The container is also not a warranty item and would only cost you over $200.00 to replace - makes the Vitamix a real deal. Wish I had known about this 2 months ago.
