I'm very happy with the performance and the picture quality and color. The remote is a bit on the difficult side because it is so small but I changed mine to another Vizio remote that I had and now it is fine. If I understand right, the newer version of this TV that recently came out has the larger remote so that will be a plus. I use this TV for gaming and everything is fine with that. I also have a 55" Vizio and to me, this 40" has a better picture quality than the 55. I definitely recommend this TV. Price is great too. Can't go wrong.
Was looking for a smart TV that would fit in an armoire in our guest bedroom. This Vizio was one of the only in a 40" that would fit. I liked that it was 1080p and also had Bluetooth to link up to my headphones. Was a great value at $150 bucks, and got it delivered the same day!
I purchased this TV for my mom. I did my background check as always check out all the TVs and this is my favorite. She loves it. It came today. I freaking love it.❤️❤️❤️❤️
The image is exceptionally clear, detailed, and lifelike. It makes a nice gift for a senior to upgrade their television. I purchased a 40 inch for my mum.
This is the big "small TV" I needed for a tight space. It took 5 minutes to install the legs and get connected to the WIFI. Picture is fine, sound is good. Cost me $130. I would totally buy it again.
Picture is sharp, volume is awesome, I have no complaints about this TV at all! It is a good TV , I would highly recommend it!! The price makes it easy to afford when on a limited budget!!
I bought this at a great price but did not know that VIZIO was purchased by Walmart and there is a "built-in" component that really tries very hard to get you to buy the Walmart subscription. I don't need all that and it was a little bit of a challenge NOT to have to buy the subscription. While setting up just "decline" or "cancel" as you go along and everything will still work just fine. It was otherwise easy to set up. Pretty much plug it in and it is ready. The remote is very simple and it easily worked with the cable remote (yes I still have one of those) without having to reprogram that device. The picture is very bright and crisp and the sound is great.
I’ve continually bought Vizio TVs since they’ve been on the market. I’ve always been happy with her quality picture sound and value. I purchased a small 40 inch Vizio first one volume kept changing up and down. I just returned that one for a second one it would’ve reboot itself usually once a night. Customer service tried to help dress the situation. This went on for several weeks and then they were going to send a technician to the house with a replacement part for my brand new TV, which only cost $140. Does not sound like smart business all I wanted to do was return it which Walmart stood behind their product took it back. I don’t think I’ll be buying the Vizio in a near future.
We got it and tried to set it up. First, no screws… there were supposed to be screws but they sent an empty bag instead. Second. The remote didn't work. Third, the picture was JACKED up. It kept fading in and out, sometimes going black altogether.
This tvs operating system is garbage. It's slow and very unpredictable. Tv leaves your programing for no reason and the remote is completely worthless!
