This was my first large tv. So far, it seems to be working very well It was a pretty easy setup. Given the size (55"), I was able to do it myself. The brightness, color and sound seems to be excellent. I am also loving that it is HomeKit compatible
Brilliant beautiful picture, good sound, great quality, really awesome value and price. I didn't expect it to be this good........thinking about getting another one for the other room!!
I love M Series M8 TV. This tv does it all gaming, movies, photos, and karaoke. My only issue is with the speakers being really low volume. I love all the built in gaming features HDR10/10 /Dolby Vision/HDMI 2.1, VRR, ALLM, AMD Freesync, and more. The TV gets 600 to 800 nits and the quantum color work perfectly for true color. So I went to get a sound bar now its like those $2000 TVs maybe even better. I put this TV up against TCL/Hisense/LG models and this Vizio beat them at price/features/wide color gamut. Full Array Local dimming.
Bought this tv on 8-10-2020 was told it was going to be ready for pick up on Thursday 8-13-2020 it ended up being ready on 8-17-2020. Over all a good tv and worth the wait. I use a sound system with mine so I cant speak for the quality of the tv speakers. The on screen setup was easy and fast and the TVs color and picture is awesome.Havent had any lag from the tv even while gaming overall a great tv for the money
In general, this TV is a good buy for the price and does what it is advertised to do. I gave it 4 stars because the clarity of the picture is OK, but it does not "knock your socks off". The Smart function works very well and offers many options and is easy to work with.
This is a great tv with a great picture and good value when you look at the features. The only drawbacks are that the sound doesn't project well (compensate with a sound bar) and the brightness is lacking for my apartment (my apartment has very large industrial windows and is very bright). Personally with the PS5 and new Xbox coming out I wish it had a 120hz refresh rate (since both support it) considering the tv boasts the "pro gaming engine"
Was finally time to upgrade a refurbished 48in Vizio brought a few years back (which is still working perfectly). Nice sharp picture, sound is a bit better then the other TV but Vizio just kinda lacks in that department, luckily I already have a soundbar. Nice sleek profile and lightweight TV.
The picture is very good. Color contrast and brightness is above expectations for the cost. There are two types of screens you can get with Vizio and with this screen panel it has max brightness and contrast when near center of view. Some loss of contrast viewing from far sides. The other screen they use may be more expensive. I dont think its much of an issue with most though. It has a picture that is almost identical to my Sony that cost double the money. Its nice to buy a tv and unpack it and not have to make a return because of inferior quality and headaches that follow. Customer service is fine. I dont think you can go wrong with this set. I dont use the smart tv part of set. Internet never connected. I use a sound bar.
Bought on 1/6/21. Came 1/9/21. I opened it and set up. Soon as I powered it up the panel had a black line going top to bottom of screen. Since it's new had to go the factory warranty. Also I bought Walmart's protection plan by way definitely should do Since nowadays technology is crap lol. Talk to vizio and now I have to wait 3weeks for a replacement and its not vizio that comes out to replace it its a sub contractor for them to do it. Never buy a tv online just go to store. It's a great tv dont get me wrong just know vizio as a company do there customers wrong with telling u information then not knowing what's in the notes for your account far as getting a replacement. Everything works besides the panel not working 100percent.
The sound on was horrible. My tablet gets louder than this tv. The picture quality not good for anything less than Dolby Vision content. I am fairly certain I received a defective model. But that says more about Vizio quality control. I cannot reccommed buying this tv.
