Dependable and Easy on the Pocketbook
I used this brand many years ago when I was much younger and had less money. I got many compliments on how shiny and healthy my hair looked. After tiring of the more expensive brand, I decided to go back to the much less expensive VO5 to see if it still works as well. I'm pleased to report that the shine is back and my hair feels much cleaner for considerably less money. I will be adding VO5 back to my hair care routine.

I used to purchase VO5. I had stopped when I read about its ingredients causing cancer. So now with new ingredients I trying it out again. I like how clean it gets my thick curly hair clean in 2 washes and it lathers up nicely. I like thats it clear see through shampoo too.

Great Shampoo!
This is the only shampoo my husband will use. He has an oily scalp and this is the only shampoo we have found that gives his hair any body whatsoever. It also has a pleasant aroma and is a great value.

Same quality product. More fragile packaging
They have a new bottle. It used to be made of HDPE and is now made of a more fragile PETE. I hope it doesn't crack after being dropped in the shower a few times!

Watered Down New Formula
Agree with KG who wrote 2/22/2023 review about it being watered down. It's horrible! Shampoo doesn't suds and Conditioner is so watered down it shoots out of the bottle. I have used VO5 shampoos and conditioners for many years and loved the products. Couldn't beat the price, either! Even for the inexpensive price, I will no longer buy VO5 products. HRB Products should have made the price higher and left the formula alone! I called the 800 number on the bottle to ask if formula was changed. Horrible customer service, too!

watered down
They watered it down to the point it does not work. I've used this shampoo for many years so I buy 3 bottles at a time. I was so disappointed yesterday when i used it. They changed formula and I wasted my money.
