Vornado Sphere, Desktop Fan

This fan is a little ball, that you can position in any way on a rubber ring as the base. You don't have to insert it to a fixed position, which gives it great versatility for fan winds. I use it to cool my MacBook Air 2020, which does not come with an internal fan. I have the computer on an aluminum stand. This fan keeps it cool on the lowest setting. The highest setting is really powerful and I don't need to use it for my purposes, but I would think someone would be happy with either speed. On the lowest setting, I can see the fan wind going all the way to my drapes, which are 5 feet from the fan.

It was a gift but I have one and I love it. I wish it had a remote so I wouldn't have to get up to either turn it off/on.

I am so happy with this fan. It is small but really pushes out the air. Has two settings, low and high plus the rubber platform that it sits on prevents the fan from moving while offering perfect fan position.

It's a tiny little fan but it moves air and is good for small spaces. We use it in our bathroom to keep the air moving. We're buying another to keep in our home office!

I've only been using this fan a few weeks, so I can't speak to long-term quality yet. However, so far it has been great. It is quiet enough for sleeping, which is what I purchased it for. Its size is very compact. It sits on a table at the foot of the bed, yet is powerful enough to bring me (a very hot sleeper) cooling comfort. I can easily feel the breeze at the head of the bed. The disk that the fan sits on allows you to adjust its position in many ways. It feels sturdy in construction.

Needed this for an interior office without windows or air-conditioning. Very strong airflow and works well.

This Vornado Spear fan is no Tornado, but then it never claimed to be one, BUT IT'S A GREAT LITTLE FAN!

The fan is small but puts out quite a bit of air. I have a small bathroom and I keep it on the counter and it keeps it cool.

Vornado air circulators are excellent, just this design I did not like. I found it a little difficult to situate on the ring and the cord seemed to be getting in the way. Would I buy another Vornado product? Absolutely!

Vornado is a highly regarded brand. However, I have a small cheap usb fan that moves more air than this fan, takes up less space, uses less energy. This fan was such a disappointment I am returning it.
