VTech Hush Pro Sleep Training Soother with Glow-on-Ceiling Projector for Babies, Multi-Color

I bought this about a month ago for my toddlers room. I wanted a second okay-to-wake type programmable night light/alarm clock. We have a 4 year old hatch night light. It is doing great but this was a bit cheaper so I figured I'd give it a try. I love the programmable portion of this soother! We have quiet time light %26 low noise playing for part of the afternoon, lullabies with orange light leading up to bedtime, then red light with white noise and characters shown on the ceiling for the first part of bedtime. The last daily program shuts off red light but leaves some noise for the remainder of the night. Programming was fairly straightforward. I didn't expect to like the LED display with time and temperature so much. With the additional features this soother offers, I plan to swap the hatch and this device when my next baby arrives in a couple months. I figure my toddler %26 preschooler would like the stories %26 characters on the ceiling more than an infant. The app doesn't seem to have the glitchy problem as described in other reviews. Sometimes scrolling is a bit weird? If you use the app, go to another app for awhile, then come back to the soother app, you'll probably need to close it and reopen again. The programs will also not override whatever the soother is doing if it's already on and running. One thing that impressed me was the rechargeable/cordless option. I just leave mine plugged in so I don't forget to charge when I need it. The power went out late a week or so ago during a storm. My house was dark and silent except this soother was running just fine since it was charged up. Thankfully the power wasn't out long but I loved how the soother was totally unbothered.

The Soother is fantastic, even though the app is a bit Jinky and needs work. The fact is that everything we want, this unit does beautifully White Noise has a cute projection, you can use it as a Bluetooth speaker and the sound is pretty decent, you can set routines, honestly I don't know why you would spend money on the hatch which in my opinion is a worse product

Absolutely love it! Definitely a must get for your baby's room! The music is clear and the light is beautiful. Also it links to your phone you can adjust the music and lights both from your phone. It also tells the time and weather!

I bought this for my son's nursery. He is due in January. I like all the different sound and light settings the light has and it's easily controlled with my phone.

This thing is so much more cooler than expected! It has sleep schedules so your toddler won't get up! It also sings lullabies, read stories and plays sleep sounds! Not only that, it projects onto the ceiling! Super cool and worth the money!

This machine does it all! Great price point considering that its portable and doubles as a night light for older kids

exactly what i needed

I thought this would be great because of all the good reviews but I really dislike this sound machine. It randomly turns off in the night which wakes the baby up. The lights will still be on but no sound. Getting the app to open and connect is a challenge as well, I have to open and close the app to get my device to open. You can tap the top to start your saved sound and it's constantly changing to different sounds so we have to go onto the app and switch it. A sound machine shouldn't be this complicated, simple would be better. Dealing with these issues at 4am with a crying baby isn't fun.

I liked the features and it was easy to use. The one big issue we consistently have is that the sound or light cuts out randomly. We have been woken up by our child who comes into our room saying the sound machine turned off or the light turned off. I've called customer service and never received a call back after being on hold and choosing the call back option. It is incredibly frustrating.
