This item worked as well as it was advertised. I purchased this product to spray mainly latex paint on some cabinets and doors that I was redoing. I was a little skeptical, because it said in the advertisement that latex paint did not need to be thinned. I poured the paint into the container, practiced a little to get the right amount of product flowing, and away I went. Painted 4 doors , 2 cabinets, and some base trim very quickly with professional looking (in my opinion)results. I did try some latex primer without thinning at first, but it was too thick. I thinned it with a little water and away I went. I love this sprayer. Cleanup is very easy also.
After researching several other top rated paint sprayers, I decided to purchase this one because it was not only highly rated, but it was also reasonably priced. After using it a few times, I figured out which pressure & volume settings would give me the desired results. It took some practice, but all in all I'm very happy with this sprayer.
I bought this sprayer to make painting the exterior of my house easier and it has done just that. The spray pattern adjustments are simple and effective. It sprays a nice even coat. It is light enough to use all day and and to get into tight spots. So far I have used a latex exterior paint and the clean up is real easy with just hot soapy water. It was well worth the price.
Good Day, I am a DIY contractor for my wife at home and a technician by trade. I own a Graco $700 Airless Sprayer and also a professional HVLP Titan Sprayer. It is quite a choir to setup these large sprayers to do simple small jobs. If you are like me that only has Saturday to get the most quick projects done, I recommend this Wegner Sprayer. It is quick to setup in 5-10 min. and quick to clean and put away . This sprayer worked as well as my Graco and with less overspray and splatter. It worked so well that I also use it for small painting projects on the industrial machinery we make. I was skeptical at first of the quality at $108.00 price, but now I will buy another one if needed.
I've only use it once, but seems really good! & so easy to clean it out, seems quicker than cleaning out a roller.
Easy to use for first time painter!
This was the first time I used a paint sprayer and I found the Wagner sprayer very easy to use. The flow was great and the coverage consistent.
It is a good little sprayer for small projects. Like doors, trim, cabinets, etc. We are flipping a house and hoped we could use it on the walls too but it simply isn't made for that. However it still is a great tool for the other things we needed to paint. If you follow the directions you should have no trouble with this
One very important thing missing from the product description...this sprayer is not suitable for indoor use. I didn't find that out until getting the box open after picking it up on a Site to Store shipment. Figured rather than returning it, I'd try to use it for a large indoor painting project. The sprayer handles latex paint just fine, but because it uses forced air, creates a huge amount of paint dust. A portion of the paint atomizes and instantly drys to dust, then blows out into the room. It was absolutely everywhere. This would be a great sprayer for outdoor use. Now I have a $100 outdoor sprayer that can sit around until some year when I need it. In the meantime, it's time to get busy cleaning up the house.
I reviewed this so much on walmart and amazon before purchasing but was very disappointed with its performance. I tried to use it to paint the basement ceiling. After doing about 2-3 loads motor just tripped and didn't start for good amount of time. I think it overheat. I would expect it not to. I had a very high hopes for this.
