Wagner 530010 1 to 5gal Smart SideKick Power Roller

We have used Wagner power roller for the last 30 years. We thought we should get a new one just in case the older one might quit in the middle of painting. Well, that's exactly what happened and we were so glad we got the new one. It works so wonderful, my husband would recommend it in a minute. You won't be disappointed. We always clean it up when done and make sure the water running through the hose is clear.

I only write reviews on products that are absolutely horrible or if they exceed my expectations. In this case the Wagner power roller absolutely exceeded my expectations. My only negative comment is why I didn't buy this earlier for my other paint projects.

Great little timesaver for ceilings. Easy to use. Clean up is the hardest part. Worth the money.

Such a gamechanger, and so easy to use! We have several rentals that needed a facelift, and I came across this roller, super smooth and works great! Quick, fast and great coverage. Anyone can use it!!! I'm no painter, but I look forward to using it again and again.

The Sidekick Power Roller works good and it is easy to use. The down fall is the tube isn't long enough to reach down the hall and the clean up was very messy and hard. Long story short will I buy it again YES.

Wagner usually excels ...until now. The machine worked well but the on/off switch on the handle stuck in ON position. Had to employ my husband to be the Official ON/OFF guy to operate the paint flow at the machine itself....Very inconvenient...to get the room painted.

This product is ok for young people or for painting low to the ground items such as fencing. It is precarious, however, for painting 9 ft ceilings and walls. Once the hose fills up with paint, it is almost too heavy and awkward for an elderly person like me to lift and paint sensibly. I also had trouble with the hose dragging itself onto freshly painted (wet) walls and then getting paint on other items through transfer. Then after using it, the cleanup of it took longer than the actual painting. I like the old style of Wagner painter better. You filled the tank with paint, and it was compact and had a shoulder strap, shorter hose, and you could take it up with you on a ladder. It was battery powered and had no power cord to fool with. I think Wagner took a step backward with this newer product. I'll keep this new one around for smaller projects but probably just exterior jobs since the hose makes messes.

Used it for the first time since I purchased, worked for two hours and then it wouldn't turn on. Wasted a lot of paint and time trying to get it to work again. Waste of money
