Wagner Smart Roller, Great for Walls and Ceilings with Paint Material

I would recommend this to anyone painting more than a room. It really speeds up the job. Make sure you are ready to go with all the walls at once because you don't want to have to clean frequently. I recommend removing the roller and putting it on a traditional roller to clean, using a high pressure hose and a 5 gallon bucket (to keep the water off you). It isn't as easy to clean as tossing the liner and the roller, so that needs to be weighed against the time that is saved which was twice as fast painting for my family. The product needs to be completely cleaned and lubed between jobs. It doesn't sit well so make sure all prepping is done before the job starts. Bag it if you need a quick break.

My wife loves to paint and had never heard of this device. After using it, she loves to paint even more. It speeds up the paint process dramatically and reduces the mess. The only hassle is the cleanup, but she says the time she saved painting, more than makes up for it.

This thing is great. Easy to fill, and easy to control amount of paint to the roller. We bought this to augment an airless power roller, and have found that we prefer this. No hose, easier clean-up, and just a bit more effort to load. (Don't get the edge roller though. That one sucks!

This does a cleaner and faster job of painting compared to manual hand held roller painting. I have used this type of painting in the past and I would not go back to the old way. Kind of a pain to clean but not too bad. I painted three of my rooms on my house and then threw it away. The roller got flat and it started to drip paint at the end where the paint gets sucked up at. I got my money out of it and saved a lot compared to if I had to pay someone to do it. Found a roller cover at the store after I was finished painting and I wish I had that between breaks. It would have kept the paint wet but if you change colors the smart roller would still need to be cleaned between color change.

This made painting my bedroom, which has high ceilings, so much easier. Once you follow the instructions for how to put it together and how to use it, painting goes quickly. I love that I can load it with paint right from the can.

Not worth the money at all! You have to pump a lot of paint into the roller to even get some on the outside of the roller and then you have to press so hard to get an even coat of paint on the wall! Which made it even more difficult to do the top of the wall. It may have been less mess but it definitely took more time!

Beware of this seller. They sent the paint stick that retails for $29.99 everywhere. What I ordered was the smart roller that includes a better can lid for filling and returning paint. A shield for painting ceilings and much more. Beware of this illegal bait and switch
