This dressing is a very tasty addition to my salads. I buy the prepared Asian salad in packages in the produce section of Walmart. I prepare as recommended from the instructions on the package, and add just a little more Walden Farms salad dressing with shrimp , for additional flavor. I highly recommend, this product, its perfect!!!
I love this dressing on asian style salad, walmart carries a salad bag that comes with what tastes like the same dressing, I always end up wanting more dressing thus I bought this, it's a bit on the thin side but it's still good. I.e. I think it should be a bit thicker to make it perfect otherwise it's a great product.
Very tasty, sweet. biggest complaint is when pouring it out, it's difficult to keep it from dribbling down the outside of the container which then leads to the container being greasy unless wiped very well.
If you like Asian flavors, BUY THIS! Try it on broccoli slaw. Sparingly, mix well, then let it sit and blend for a while. It's also good for dipping egg rolls. It IS sesame-forward and has a bit of a bit of a bite.
Let me preface this review by saying that I love Walden Farms line of salad dressings/dipping sauce. This sesame ginger, upon opening the bottle, I could tell I'd be disappointed solely by just the color of it. The good sesame ginger dressings I've had in the past had a slight orange tinge to it. This one was a muddy brown…and unfortunately, that is what it tasted like. Mud. It was too earthy. Maybe make it less herby %26 more tangy would probably help. In my bowl of salad, it had then tasted like I was eating grass with mud. Lol. Would not purchase this again. All their other flavors are great. And at zero sugar zero fat zero calories it helps for those who need monitor their food intake. I'm sad this sesame ginger was a miss. But packaging, size, and price point is the three stars I'm giving it.
The flavor was a bit surprising. I only purchased some of the flavor sesame and ginger because of the salad kit I was buying, and the flavor of the Asian kit was just the same thing that I have not eaten that salad yet so I don't know if they are going to taste the same way but because I was curious about this flavor of a food that I have never had before with the two that are mentioned on the label I tried a tiny sample of just this salad dressing and like I said in the beginning of the review I was surprised. It has a burnt taste to it nothing like this title given to the product so that's what surprised me. I don't like that flavor.
Sesame ginger dressing is my favorite ... but not this. There's very little flavor and what there is tastes like it came from the waste side of a chemical plant. Truly awful.
This was watery and tasted nothing like any Asian food or spice I've ever had. The looked like dirty water and tasted like what I imagine dirty water would taste like. I opened it and threw it away 30 seconds later. Don't waste your money.
This stuff has no flavor whatsoever. It isn't sweet. It isn't sour. It isn't salty. There's no hint of oil or ginger or sesame. It tastes like nothing at all. Maybe you're only supposed to smell it.
This dressing had a very bland taste. You could only vaguely taste ginger. It tasted like nothing. It didn't add any flavor or anything. Don't buy this.
