Walker Edison Mid-Century Modern Storage TV Stand for TVs up to 80”, Mocha

This console is stunning! It has a sophisticated aesthetic, and at the same time it is very substantial. It looks far more expensive than the price. DIMENSIONS 70”l x 22”h x 15”w. 100 lbs. Perfect for our 65” tv. It left from the manufacturer the very same day that I ordered it from Walmart, arriving 4 days later. PARTS %26 TOOLS There are 22 wood pieces and 270 hardware pieces. That’s correct, 270 pieces of hardware. Why do you think it is so sturdy?! The only tool you need is a Phillips screwdriver. ASSEMBLY All the parts were strong. (You don’t have to worry about stripping the screw heads.) All the pieces line up perfectly. There were no arguments with it while fitting the pieces together. The instructions are VERY simple with intuitive diagrams. You will perform the same task many times. For example, there are 53 dowels. They require glue in the holes before putting them in. So you squirt in the glue then push in the dowel, wipe off the excess, and that’s it! I’m a small woman in my 60’s. Assembly took 4 hours. About half way through, my husband had to turn it over so I could finish it. It is too big and too heavy for me. However, it simply couldn’t have been easier to build. MY RECOMMENDATIONS A. Spend $20 and buy yourself 1) An inexpensive handheld rechargeable screwdrivers. You will be glad you have it for the 100 screws, and 2) a 4 oz bottle of quality wood glue. They give you 2 small hard plastic tubes of glue that are difficult to squeeze. A bottle is easier. When you finish, you'll be glad you spent the extra $20. B. Buy it from Walmart. Some other stores are selling this exact same console, drop shipped from the manufacturer just like Walmart is doing, but they are charging twice the price it is at Walmart! C. When putting together a piece that already has dowels installed into a piece that has holes ready to receive dowels, don’t forget to put glue in the receiving holes. The dowels need to be glued into both holes. D. Don’t worry that you are going to put stickers over the cam lock holes. These are only on the inside areas and you cannot see them at all but you would be able to see the cam lock holes. COLOR The color in the advertised photos is incorrect, as someone else noted. It does have an ash/gray hue (which I wouldn’t typically have chosen). However, that hue gets completely lost. Check out my photo. The color is true. My floor is a very deep red/yellow cedar which you can compare to the console. And, you’ll see for yourself, that while you may be like me and not typically like the ash/gray hue, that this hue is lost in the absolute beauty and quality of this piece. And dare I say, it contributes to the stylish appearance. Besides, not everything in my house has to be matchy-matchy. It’s kind of nice giving the tv wall a little oomph.

Very well packaged. Build is time consuming but well documented.

It's what you pay for and it's hold up good but some parts came damaged still worked around it …

It has a lot of parts and screws. I needed someone else to construct for me.

The assembly was a bit of work, so I recommend doing it with two people. The box is also quite heavy, so keep that in mind when moving it around. It fits our 65-inch TV perfectly, which is exactly what we needed. The stand feels very sturdy and well-built. The color is more of a matte grayish tone, which surprised me since I thought it would be brown. But it actually looks nice and wasn't an issue at all. Overall, it's a solid and good-looking TV stand that does its job well

I recently purchased a TV stand advertised as suitable for a 75-inch TV, but unfortunately, I encountered some challenges. The assembly process was quite tricky and took about two hours. Once I finished, I realized that the stand was too narrow to accommodate the legs of my TV securely. I was concerned that if I placed the TV on the stand, it could potentially fall off. When I contacted Walmart to inquire about a return, I found out that I needed to return it myself. Since I don't have a larger vehicle, this became quite impractical, and I ultimately decided to store it in my basement instead. I hope this feedback might help improve product descriptions or assembly instructions in the future.
