We bought this unit while on vacation. We had an older unit at home which was still working fine. This newer model has nice features so we are now reserving our older model for vacations. We like the top of the water container where we can store our personal tools
Have never owned a water flosser but my dentist recommend I get one %26 can't believe how well it works. Thought I was doing good flossing my teeth till I used this for the first time %26 small pieces of food went in the sink. I am still using the first setting as have sensitive teeth. Would recommend to anyone !!!!!!
I did a test. I string flossed my teeth then brushed them thoroughly, thinking all junk was removed. Then I used the waterpik. There were many black specs in the white sink bowl. Obviously, waterpik cleaned what I missed using the other two techniques.
I am pleased with this water flosser after about 6 weeks. The flosser handle itself is nice and thin, so it's easy to move it around your mouth. The only thing I don't like is how the water hose connecting the handle to the main unit is coiled and doesn't like to straighten out, which can affect how I hold the flosser handle when flossing. This unit would be much easier to use if the hose wasn't meant to stay all coiled up. But I suppose it stays coiled so it fits in the unit for traveling or something. I'd be much happier if the hose wasn't coiled.
After repeated mentions from my dental hygienist and my dentist, I purchased your product. This is the first one I have owned. It does take a little bit to get use to, especially turning it OFF before removing it from my mouth. I have used two of the attachments and found them both easy to use. Keeping the end pointed at my gums and teeth is also easy as I can feel the water and where it is impacting. I have only increased the pressure to about half and it felt comfortable to use at that level. I had already brushed my teeth before using, so I was surprised by the pieces of food that were dislodged and showed up in the sink. I believe this will be a great addition to my dental hygiene and my dental team will be Happy I added it.
After using it for a couple of weeks, I've noticed it causes my teeth and gums to become sensitive even with low pressure, so I don't use it every day. I use it twice a week, and the rest are regular dental floss. Overall, it's a great product concept.
It's pretty loud for what it is. To be honest. I mean I wouldn't mind spending more for money actually to not get a loud one. I don't care if it's budgeted anymore. That being said, I also think that the controls are big clunky. I don't see the reason why two valve.
I'm not sure if I am getting my money's worth from this device. I don't feel like it is doing an especially good job of cleaning between my teeth. The reservoir in the handheld unit seems to be about 20% too small and the fill hole could be better placed.
I have had the same model but white in the past and it lasted a long time and did a great job. this one does not weigh as much. is quite noisy and vibrates some. and the pressure is not as good. if I turn up the pressure too noisy and the vibration is worse.
This machine replaces one I have had for more than a few years. The quality of the new one is nothing compared to the one I had, but then I think this is happening with a lot of things. It works great, I am just not sure how long it is going to last.
