these are great. they don't have a scent, which is a plus for me.. they seem to last about a 2 and 1/2 hours.

Unscented- base is clear plastic not metal
These tea candles are in a plastic base and not aluminum or metal. Normally, I would not care but I was using them for the clay pot "heater" for a small room during a electrical outage. It gets extremely hot in the base of the pot so I it not want to use them as the plastic may have melted. Otherwise, if you are using them as a normal candle - they are great and I like that they are unscented and don't give off toxic perfume chemicals. Picture is of the clay heater with the candles inside.

Are these tea lights safe?
These tea lights are set in plastic, NOT TIN, as normally expected, and there didn't appear to be any specific information online to alert the customer. Doesn't seem very safe.

Poor wick material
The wicks on the candles are made with poor materials and are a constant fight to keep lit. Due to this problem, the candles have a poor longevity.
