WD Blue 2TB SA510 SATA Internal Solid State Drive SSD - WDBB8H0020BNC-WRWM

I replaced a HDD in my Alienware gaming computer with this SSD. The drive is a secondary drive (D) but I'm still not sure why they used HDD instead of SS. The installation was simple and the free software for cloning the existing drive made it simple.

The drive fit in the slot the way it should. The ribbon cable was in good shape and the end that connects to the board was marked so it was easy to clip in. Closed the computer up and the system booted up with no issues. I cleaned the partitions up which allowed me full capacity of the new drive.

Excellent value. Beyond the quality and durability of this SSD, the young man that helped me at the curbside pick up at the Walmart in Manchester, New Hampshire was fantastic. Kind, understanding, helpful and efficient. I cannot remember his name, but he should get a raise immediately.

This SSD was fairly easy to install with Windows 10 USB Boot drive. Had to mess with the BIOS boot settings a bit but finally got it working, and it is FAST. I boot to desktop now in a few seconds which used to take me a few minutes on my old tired Seagate Barracuda. 2TB gives me enough space for all my music, videos, documents and games.

This was an excellent buy. This is a great product every time I buy these and I have bought multiple SSD drives. I've never had a problem with any of them. If I would've known the prices were gonna skyrocket I would've bought a dozen of these at the time of this purchase. Now the prices are just too high.

This is a product my son needed for his computer and is difficult to find with disruptions in supply chain, etc., He was so pleased to find this at our local Walmart and at an affordable price for his budget. We don't know how much longer this particular product will be on the market but are satisfied for now.

I alway use wd ssd drive and samsung product the price was low enought to aford with 3 boys my ss only allows A little bit while we stuggle each month but thank's for lower price every bit help thank again

This was the first time we used Walmart's pick-up service. Having the pick-up in the front of the store facing the main parking lot proved to be chaotic with lines of cars awaiting pick-ups and blocking folks from parking. I would recommend that Walmart Danbury move their pick-up zone to the side or back of the building.

I purchased the WD 2TB as a backup drive for my 2TB NVME. Really simple to install and get up and running. I thought the TBW (lifespan rating) of the drive was relatively low for a 2TB drive, but the 5 year warranty on the drive was good. However, after registering the product with WD/Sandisk (and providing my purchase receipt), WD sent me an email saying it was old stock from 2024 and they would not provide a 5 year warranty unless Walmart sent me an email saying the item was new. I also contacted Walmart Customer service and was informed Walmart doesn't send emails confirming items are new. There are several online posts complaining about this behavior from WD, where they won't honor their warranty and make customers jump through impossible hoops. I could not recommend a product from a company that provides fake warranties.

Failure after failure.. Warning: these stopped being produced 3 years ago and Samsung doesn't believe they're new.. warranties are only covered for 2 years at most, often less. They stopped making this model 3 years ago because of the horrible failure rates.
