It isn't glamorous but works exceptionally well.
The Weller WLC100 40-Watt Soldering Station has been a staple in electronic manufacturing environments for decades. It still is. What I received is exactly what I expected and it still works as well as it did 40 years ago. You might want to have a couple of extra tips on hand. You don't need them often but when you do, waiting a couple of days for them to arrive isn't fun.

Weller WLC100 Soldering Station
I am fairly a new ham radio operator and so far this soldering station works very well for what I wanted a soldering station for i.e. occasional soldering and repair of antennas, some small electronics and basically most anything you would need soldered around a radio shack.

Amazing value!
A really great station. I got tired of using the cheap soldering irons and wanted a good quality one. I expected good it totally surpassed that. Instant improvement on the quality of my work with it. Heats up quick and works perfect!

Works perfectly, well made. Will last for years.
Love this. Gets hot really quickly and works perfectly. Great value and cheaper than random A*. Nice to buy something that is not actually made in China. (Mexico --- yay)

dont wast money on others
This has been the best soldering irons ive had so far I set heat on 3 and can solder pretty much anything great tool ive been using the stock tip for 2 or 3 months noe

We use these commercially and have relatively few problems with them. The tips are usually easy to replace and the heat adjustment settings work well for the different types of soldering we do. (We are an LED company so this item is used daily for up to 12 hours a day.)

Nice soldering station for the money
This is a very good soldering unit for the price. Works well, easy to maintain. I do wish the cord from the base to the iron was less stiff and more free and flexible. It tends to get in the way. I also wish Weller could have put the wattage level on the disk rather than just numbers,

Missing a screw!!!
Seems like it works, it heats up and melted solder but just noticed it's missing a screw from the bottom and it looks like it's been tampered/opened (not the packaging but the actual soldering station)
