It is on the bulky side for paper cutters so storage can be difficult especially in classrooms but it closes relatively small. Overall, a great cutter and a big time saver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer is lightweight and is easy to carry around. There are rubber in the legs to prevent it from sliding around. I use a trimmer to cut inventory slips for my company's inventory. The plastic guard takes a bit to get used too, but its better than missing a finger. My wife can now take this with her when she goes help out at school.

This trimmer is solid and heavy duty, yet extremely easy and comfortable to use. The contemporary design adds to the aesthetic of this product and the functionality and quality live up to the high standards of Westcott. The cutting platform includes a clear grid and ruler for precise measurements. The trimmer cuts through a variety of paper thicknesses with ease. I easily cut through ten sheets of regular paper with no problem. An additional feature that stood out to me was the safety latch. It firmly anchors the blade for safe storage or transport. I highly recommend this trimmer.

This paper cutter is absolutely stunning. I love the design and elegance of the cutter and it's so much better than the ancient one I've carried from place to place. This one has all of the important safety features - a safety lock and plastic shield to ensure you leave with all ten fingers! The blade is nice and sharp so it cuts cleanly and evenly, even through thicker cardstock. Kudos for the ruler being in both inches and centimeters! It makes it so easy to line up and cut efficiently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so handy to keep in my home office. I cut a lot of cardstock and laminated cardstock. The cuts have all been smooth. I have tried cutting stacks of paper, and those don't always go so well, but if I stick to only cutting a few at a time, it works great.

It is very easy to use and helps me cut straight edges on a variety of materials with ease. I love how heavy it is, which give me peace of mind to know that it won't budge while I'm working. I had a similar paper cutter. I could only cut 8 sheets of paper at a time without the cutting arm getting stuck in the middle of an attempted cut. This required me to count each sheet of paper, or to be on the safe side to avoid a time consuming hang up which ruined he paper, to do a few sheets at a time. With this product I can grab a pile of paper and cut it without difficulty. My previous cutter was about the same size and approximately half the price. Time and lack of frustration is important and well worth the extra price. I highly recommend this product.

Somewhat difficult to find the exact cut line. Cuts great, including multiple sheets.
