These are really sharp and the tips allow for precise cutting. We had a very, very old (10 years) pair of the same scissors and the rubbery plastic where the fingers are eventually got brittle and fell off. The plastic handles also got brittle and broke about a year later, although I will admit that I was not gentle with them. I was trying to cut a plant stem that was a little woody. Anyway, I tried other scissors but liked these Westcotts so much I bought the same pair and hope they last as long as the original one did.

These scissors work so good that it is important that a cautious individual and not a child can use them safely. I found that the items works very good like it should. Too good actually. I love them and I just have to pay attention to what I am doing for safety. I also put them up in a such place that it is safer for anyone. The grip is good, small but mighty, cuts too well, and it great for crafts. I am using them for sewing to cut fabric. I do recommend this product. But, I have to tell you that this is the sharpest pair of scissors that I have ever come across and I am middle aged. You are warned as I cannot stress this enough. Good product and definitely worth it. Enjoy successfully cutting all the crafts and fabric, just stay use wisely to avoid injury.

When looking for small scissors a person is usually stuck with the all metal wire frame variety. These are better as grips are contoured for ease of use, a massive upgrade in comfort and utility than the typical small scissors. The build quality of these scissors are so well made I bought a couple more since the time I purchased these. Hopefully I will have these for a long long time now.

These are the perfect size to store away with my embroidery projects when I'm finished for a session. The color is pleasing, the handle is comfortable for snipping and the pointed ends are absolutely necessary for completing tidy work.

This is my second pair of these Westcott 5-inch scissors. The first pair we have had for years around the house, and they are our favorite scissors. I was willing to pay a bit more for this specific pair of scissors because I love the size and sharpness, and how precise you can be when cutting. I got this pair for my artist supply bin (art is one of my main hobbies).

It's functional, but I thought they were bigger,I was thinking it was a medium pair of scissors in the ad online, good thing I didn't buy the small,I should have gotten the large pair.

These are the worst scissors I have ever had !!! The bottom third is the only sharp part on these! They're not sharp at the towards the handle. I'd return them if I could. Should have stayed with Fiskars!

The scissors were a disappointment. After cutting a piece of paper they would not stay totally closed. The scissors did not open smoothly.
