The umbrella base is very attractive, stylish, and holds my umbrella very securely with the 2 bolts provided. The base also blends well with the planter pots I have along side of it.

Easy Set Up
I love that this arrived on time and was super easy to set up. We filled it with water because that is what we had available. We slid it in place and tightened the 2 bolts onto our umbrella. Done. We have lots of wind the last few days and the umbrella is standing strong! Looks just like the picture.

it works great I put water in it instead of sand it's easier cuz I could just empty water out and refill it when I get ready to use it.

Let the umbrellas stand
Compact, easy to fill and use. I can now place umbrellas throughout my yard and not worry about winds.

Detail for improving.
Looks very nice and all pieces seem to be of good quality. I was surprised to see that the flat round plate that is bolting to the bottom of the pole is not also attached to the plastic base. That is not presenting a problem when the umbrella is open straight up. However when the umbrella is tilted, an average wind can swing the orientation around.

Love the umbrella holder. It's lightweight but heavy when filled with water and fits a standard pole. I also like that it has two tightening screws that are large and easy to turn. Very happy with the purchase!

Umbrella Base
The truth is I never did open the box, because I want a heavy base since I live in Houston and we get heavy winds and rain, and it feels light to me. If I was going to use it for putting it in a patio table it wouldn't matter to me, but I'm not.

It might work?
I didn't like the directions as they were lame. I don't even know if all the pieces were there. I went ahead %26 did the best that I could. It is out on my back porch now. I haven't put water or sand in it yet.

When I unpacked the stand, a piece was broken, and I have to return it.
