White, Zinsser Mold Killing Primer-276049, 1 gal

i moved in with a friend renting a room and keep telling her i could smell something sour from that room. when we opened it up mold was covering the ceiling. First thought was to replace all sheet rock. Came across this and purchased. its been amazing. areas still have to be replaced but 1 gallon covered that room 5 times. Taking care of the issue. i will suggest to purchase paint and primer mold resistant paint. As a precaution. It does what it says it does. we wore mask but the chemical wasn't bad. Easy to use. I'd use it again in a heart beat. well worth the money.

Does what is intended to do as kills mold and mold odor. It is a primer and is not so much a cover up paint. To cover up stains a mold resistant paint should be used after this is applied.

Covered areas that I needed it for. Applied smoothly. I was worried since I picked up curbside, that it wouldn't be mixed, but it was.

Used bc i had mold in my closet. Had to do a 2nd coat bc it seemed a little thin but its the only paint that kills and prevents mold.

It kills mold and dried quickly with little odor, I think it would be good for small areas however I needed to cover a large area of ceiling. I'll stick with Kilz next time. I found the Zinsser to be much thinner than Kilz it was hard to get even coverage It required labor intensive multiple coats it wasn't a good value in my opinion, For the cost versus other products this should lay out even coverage but it fell short.

I use my spray gun to do so and have to thin it which MAY be my problem and I didn't seal it either so the mold/mildew was back on it after about two months . I did do another coat recently to see if it helps but o so need to figure out the sealant for it. Very bright beautiful white tho . Covers an amazing amount of the wall as well .

I'm using the Walmart app and it won't let me upload a photo, but I would pick this up at the store, and stay away from the shipping. This was just delivered to me today, and the box I received was completely busted open with primer everywhere!. I wish Walmart can take the extra time to put a seal proof tape on something like this.. My closest Walmart is 46 miles away. Now I have to waste gas money, and time just to return this.
