Honestly this thing is built really well I am 380, I feel safe using it during my recovery! we are using it as an elevated platform above the toilet. I am 6 foot 2 and am no weight bearing for a while. this added the needed height and security I was looking for while managing the daily routines in thr bathroom. VERY happy!
If you need assistance for the bathroom if your legs aren't dependable, I highly recommend this item. You can tell as soon as you open the box that it is sturdy. There are two options for the feet, one is a suction that holds tight and the other is a sturdy crutch type. The chair will not slip. i could go on and on..After I puchased two other brands that were more expensive and less sturdy. I almost gave up hope. Very happy with this puchase.
The height ajustability was very helpful. My husband after back surgery started with just a toilet riser seat, but needed the arms to help stand. It worked over the riser seat, but was even better just over the regular bowl. Sturdy also. He's a big guy.
My wife's medical problems necessitated that we install this over-the-toilet seating frame (same as the one at the rehab facility). Same make as other vendors, but much less expensive; arrived as promised. The design is excellent, making assembly straight-forward and not too time consuming; built-in adjustments and installation options made the installation easy; installation in my small bathroom %26 interference with the tub %26 sink were initial concerns. No problem! With over a month of successful use, I give this purchase 5 stars. Sturdy, easy to use and easy to clean make this buy excellent.
We purchased this to assist my mother after her knee replacement surgery. It worked out so well, even the home nurse complimented how much she liked it.
My friend loves it. I picked it out for her, but she felt she only needed a doughnut seat. I told her that since she's struggling to walk and almost 80, it's smart to have a potty you can use beside if something happens. About a week later, she fell and could hardly walk. So all is good with this product.
If you are a big person, get a big person's commode. I tried small and couldn't go on, just bought it
I really like that it is adjustable for width, but it isnt the comfortable thing to sit on for long periods of time. Which really sicks when your medications make you constipated lol
When I ordered this I did not realize I had one I had used for my Mom; so I tried to cancel it but it was already in shipment phase. When it arrived I immediately tried to return it (unopened in orig. boxing) but the site would not accept it. It said this item could not be returned. Be sure you need it before you order....or you will lose $$.
i ordered the model with seat and height adjustible. they sent hight adjustable only. i cannot use this and it is non returnable which leaves me high and dry. o lrlive on SS and this definitely hurts. I'm handicapped and really needed this. very disappointed.
