Wilton 2010 Triple Star Decorating Tip Set, 3-Piece

Everything I needed came in the box including good instructions. The tips are reusable and the bags disposable. It came with plenty of bags and I'll be able to use it again before I re-order more. It took a little practice at first, but worked well once I got a rhythm, I was able to finish my project pretty quickly.

High quality item. I made a cute cake using these tips! They held up good and felt like professional quality.

A flower nail is a great addition to a cake decorating kit. With a little practice, very attractive roses and other petaled flowers can be formed for topping cakes. I leaned how to use a flower nail from a skilled baker. I remember him telling me the my first rose looked like a cabbage. I didn't think so, but with more practice, I was turning out flowers, and enjoying a new skill. This flower nail and a piping bag with a curved or leaf tip, plus a buttercream icing, is all one needs. I'm happy with this product and now I can get back to a fun, and beautiful, skill.

I just received the decorating nail in the mail yesterday, and I cant wait to use it. Its a solid nail good for making my roses and other flowers for my cakes and cupcakes. I was using the end of a pen but the roses kept slipping off. This nail is perfect for the task and has an inch or so base to work with. I love it.

Wilton Flower nail is a quality flower nail for cake decorating. Perfect size for flowers large and small. Easy to use and turn by hand. Cleans easily in dishwasher or hand wash. Perfect addition to your cake decorating kit. Now I just have to practice making roses.

I am brand new to cake and other dessert decorating with frosting so this tip is perfect for me to practice with. It is so much fun trying out different kinds of flowers and ribbons that this tip helps you create. This tip is easy to use and care for.

I enjoy Wilton decorating tips, they are nice and sturdy and don't rust on me. I purchased a tiny brush tool by Wilton to make cleaning easier. I wont embarrass myself or the Wilton brand by furnishing photos of my decorating skills, or lack of therefore; I am still practicing. This is a larger sized petal tip, I read that it is ideal for larger size, dramatic flowers along with ruffles. I highly recommend Wilton tips, even for a novice such as I, it's a fun hobby to play around with.

I have been making decorator cookies for a bit, but I am now trying my hand at cakes. I have not used this as of yet but will be making cupcakes for July 4th. I think this will be great for the smaller details like flowers, buds and leaves. It came bent but I was able to straighten it out. It looks to be made of study material however I wish the stem was a teensy bit longer. Am eager to find out if what is in my head translates to what I put on this flower nail.

Not exactly what I expected. The round and star tips were very small and I was unable to get the desired design on the cake so I improvised. The bags that come with it are very sturdy but that also makes them hard to fill. It's hard to roll the bag down to fill and twist it when it's full.

The Wilton Decorating Tip 125 is to shape petals on your baked goods. It works best with standard decorating bags and large couplers. I was only prepared with the smaller couplers. I did use the Wilton decorating bags and I followed the instructions. I practiced without the large couplers. I will need to buy some to continue to practice. The instructions are clear for a beginner such as myself. With the appropriate equipment, I know I can get better. I look forward to continued tries until I am satisfied and confident enough to use on my cakes.
