Wilton Bag Cutter and Brush Set

Seems like such a simple thing...a bag cutter to use when you're preparing an icing bag. I have a small home-based custom cookie business, and used scissors to cut bags prior to getting this, and it can get a little tedious when I'm doing a lot of orders. The cutter works so quickly and easily -- I simply love it! Apparently, it really IS the little things that matter!

I took this set to my Beginning Cake Decorating class and let my students try it out. It worked great. It's great to have two different sizes of brushes, one for the large tips and the other for the regular tips. The handles are comfortable to hold. Convenient ring to attach everything on and helps keep everything organized with less chance of losing pieces. Nice addition to product line.

I took my Bag Cutter and Brush Set to my 2 Course One classes this month to try out. The students loved this new set and I sold all three pieces that the store had in stock! I guess I need to have a chat with Wilton to have my stock levels increased! I appreciate having the ring to keep the cutter on as well as the wonderful cleaning brushes! I recently tried cutting my bags myself and have messed a couple up. My BF bought me this set for our anniversary and I love how easy it is to cut through the bags. They cut perfectly each time. My BF even stuck his finger in it to test how sharp it is and he did not cut himself.

Just picked this up. Have used the bag cutter to prep multiple bags with easy, consistant results. The brushes are the perfect size to clean tips quickly and easily. Just wonder what too so long to come up with these!

Cleaning the tips is so easy now! I used to try using toothpicks, which didn't really do the job. Cutting the decorating bag was iffy at best before I got this cutter… no more guessing about where the bag should be cut!

This is a new item that I also love! Finally a brush for the larger tips as well as keeping one for the small ones. Love the idea of the bag cutter. If I have one complaint it is only that the bag cutter could be a little sharper.

Love the new brushes, however the bag cutter "scares" me. I don't think I will use it. Almost afraid to keep it in my box for fear of accidentally getting a finger in it.

I may have gotten a bad cutter? It doesn't cut very well, almost tears the bags, and cuts too high? I thought it was supposed to cut in the right spot every time. The brushes are good. Anyone else experience this? I love Wilton products, but I'm not happy with this one.
