Good Stuff
I've bought these Rod Holders before so I knew exactly what to expect. They work great; can be moved between doc and boat. I just needed some more of them.

Works
Easy to install. You must buy a hole saw bit for your drill...a bit costly. A much needed item for your boat. Get it!

Don't waste your money
Pretty cheesy, stop ring is secured with soft plastic , secured with soft aluminum rivet ! Rivet pulled out first time I used it , pulle rivet and secured with a screw and spot of epoxy . Doubt this rod holder will hold pole if fish is over 3 lbs

great for larger polls
Description is not that detailed. Does not show the size and does not tell you there is no hardware. Item is better for saltwater rods and not so good for smaller poles.

Wise up
When installing make sure water will not damage anything where you dril the hole , competition has a similar but it comes with a cover so when the rod is not installed you may cover the hole when not in use. I had to purchase fish on flush mounts to complete the job

I would pay a little more for a better one.
I mounted these on my kayak and the white piece that turns to lock the rod in has a little piece that holds it in thats riveted. The riveted piece fell off of both of them on the first trip. I will still use them .
