Basic functionality at a low price
The remote is quick and easy to setup using the WizPro App. It provides the basic controls I use most often; on/off, brightness, and 4 programmable favorite settings. I use it to control a group of 6 lights in a single room without having to use the App on my phone. It's a good value.

Works well
I love having this as a backup to my Assistant if someone else in the house needs to turn them on or adjust the lighting for whatever reason, and I love that you can save up to 4 favorite personalized settings and can dim or brighten them from the remote.

Good but could be better.
These remotes work great for controlling a room. The only thing that would upgrade them is if you could control one individual device at a time. You have to use the app for that.

i wish it had more settings
Overall this remote is handy. It has the 4 preloaded lighting settings to choose from and you can edit those in the app. And on and off which is cool! I wish it came with a cradle so I can store this on the wall. After you add the remote to the WiZ app you can then use it on all of your WiZ light products.

didn't really need
I didn't find much of a use for this as I typically use my phone and the wiz app to change the setting on the app but I can see how it would be useful if you didn't usually have your phone handy or for younger/older people to use. Just an extra item to buy but not completely necessary

Nice addition to the Wiz ecosystem.
Easy to pair and re-pair. But seems a bit cheaply made. I am still glad that Philips has added a budget option to their lineup. I have been using the Hue remote for some lights and wanted something like that in another room where I really don't want to use the personal assistant at certain times of the day. This lets me turn off the lights without speaking. Works for me.
