I have it set to go on/off in the morning and then again in the evening. Could have many more settings if you wished. Repeats daily. One outlet. Easy to use, works great.

Wanted a timer to turn on a light for a couple of hours each day. Works ok,easy to set up.

I use this for my lights on my reptiles cages and it comes on at 9:04 A.M. and goes out at 9:04 P.M. every day without fail. The only downs side was it only had one plug and only a two prong plug will work so get a splitter with a two prong plug. Can't beat the price.

At first it's a little tedious to set up your On/Off times and "to the minute" accuracy is not possible, but for things like lights or setting the morning coffee percolator to come on it works great.

I buy a new timer every few years because nothing lasts anymore and I own a few different brands. Of all of them, this is the most difficult to set up and use, but it does work. To emphasize the difficulty in setting it up, it actually has a small slot on its side where the folded instructions insert is kept in addition to the package instructions that come with it. It works, which is important, but it isn't the easiest to set up.
