This is an easy install with the option to screw it in or use the adhesive it comes with. I live in a rental so I used the adhesive it came with. It's stuck on there pretty well even with the ridges in the door frame. I will say, the door has to line up pretty well with the door frame or it's not going to work well. The alarm is really loud. There is a key fob to turn it off and on. Makes a loud beep when you do. I bought this alarm after my child eloped. It has brought us peace of mind.
Very good product help me know when my wife leave out the house laid owl. She's up in age and tend to wonder off these item works well thank you.
These will definitely help provide me with ease of mind when watching my grandchildren. Loud enough for me to hear and ease of use.
We recently moved and didn’t want to lock into a contract with a security company, so I looked into creating a DIY system. I bought cheap sensor alarms for all of our windows, but didn’t want to use them for our doors, since I wanted to be able to arm/disarm as we entered and exited our home. I installed these about 3 months ago and so far so good! They were easy to set up and pair (I followed another reviewers instructions), so now my husband and I both have the ability to arm and disarm the home. We use these everyday and they provide an amazing little peace of mind for the price! Definitely not a foolproof system, but at least the loud alarm sound might scare a potential thief off- especially since (unlike the window sensors) there is no way to turn off the alarm without the remote. It will continue to blare until myself or my husband deactivates. The alarm itself is loud and it’s nice to have the doorbell option as well. I also love that you can sound the alarm with the key ring anytime! It’s a neat feature for potential emergencies. Big fan of these!
I bought these to alert ME if/when my 86 year old dad with dementia opened a door he wasn't "supposed" to. They were very easy to install, and have worked great. I installed rechargeable batteries, and they work just fine. I installed four alarms, and it's been very handy to have the two external door alarms set to one remote, and the two internal doors set to a separate remote (so I can set them independent of each other.) I was also pleasantly surprised by how loud they are; they awaken me even from the bedroom (with the door open at night). Good value for the money.
Wsdcam makes them good. Been using this model for like 3 years now in every apartment I've had. Price is very fair. The alarm is just like a car alarm, local, which means police aren't automatically dispatched when it goes off. But it is VERY loud, would definitely scare off your average crook. Best money I ever spent on these.
these are very loud and can be heard throughout our entire house. easy to install as well. so thankful for these as we have an autustic son that likes to elope! love hiw with the remote I can turn them off and on as well from another room if my husband gets off work or company comes over!
Easy to use and works perfectly for my situation. Not there most times so the alarm deters criminals from entering the premises.
it's ok but the batterys that came with it were no good
Had high hopes for this product. As soon as I opened the back on the unit to put in the batteries I knew there was a problem. No way for the batteries to stay in place. There was no positive/negative connection. Will be sending this product back to China.
