Wyze Cam Pan v4 4K Smart Security Camera, AI Indoor/Outdoor Camera with Color Night Vision, Pan/Tilt/Zoom, Voice Assistant Compatibility

I replaced most of my older model Wyze security cameras with this newer model. I like the idea that the camera can do a pan and follow a subject. The only problem most Wyze cameras have is the usage of micro memory chip used to save and record and activity that might interest you. I do a lot of diy testing of this product Wyze camera using solar panel batteries so I can setup the camera in remote areas of my property where theirs no electricity outlet.

I love how the cameras work, how clear the endless are and how fast that notifies you of an open door. However, I'm having a problem erasing all the notices, as I have 202 150 of them that need to be erased from one day when I was at the office and left the camera running without turning off the notifications Now I'm faced with how to delete them it takes almost 30 seconds each. How can I delete all of them in a group?

Overall, I am satisfied with the ease in set-up and the performances except for the followings. 1. Cam occasionally loses it's waypoint and have to be reset. It also loses it's set waypoint when cam is turned off and on. 2. The spotlight does not turn on immediately when it detected motion during the scheduled timeline. At times, it does not turn on at all.

Way too many false signals, this camera is set up on our driveway and an intersection about 75 yards away. Sensitivity set on 3 and at night it triggers on cars headlights that are 75 yards away. The options Cost money to set up this camera the way that I would like to. Just set up a specific area cost money. The Wyze cam support sucks!! I ordered two cables for the cam v3 back in November of 25 and then contacted Wyze twice about this and STILL No cables!! The new cameras came in within a week but thay can't supply the replacement cables in over 6 months!!! Still waiting! [email protected]

The resolution on all of my Wyze cameras is exceptional, so no surprise the Pan 4 is as well. However, though it was placed in EXACTLY the same place as a previous non-pan camera, connectivity is pitiful. No problem.wirh any of the others, but something about this pan version keeps it from working. Curiously, my neighbor has the same problem. Evidently, something about the engineering of this device is sub-standard.

The previous Pam cam 3 had less glitches. Sometimes the pan cam4 shuts off, looks up or down beyond the pan scan parameters you set and switches between night vision and regular like it can't make up its mind. Another issue is the power cord has changed to a C cable so you have to rerun a new cord thru the ceiling, thru the attic and out the soffit.

This cam would have 5 stars if it let you turn off the motion tracking but it doesn't which is beyond me. Other then that this camera is great and once they update that and add that ability to stop motion tracking this is a 5 star review for a great new camera from Wyze.

Either I got duds or they aren't as clear as advertised.... I want to be able to read a license plate and they don't even pick up my vehicle clearly..... I thought I bought the best you offered.... it defeats the purpose of buying having security cameras.... do you have anything better..... is the double pan the same cameras or better? I really thought about getting the bird feeder and solar camera setup but at this point I have worries about it being clear enough

I replaced my v3 with the v4 and have been a little disappointed in its performance. The picture is great when the unit isn't offline. With the v3 i always got consistent access and good video. I upgraded to the v4 in hopes to get more detail of people and cars going by or stopping at my address. Like I said the video is good when I can access the device.

I returned my campaign V4. It would not stay connected even though it had a very strong Wi-Fi signal. When it was connected it did not track movement or record reliably. I have eight other wyze cameras so I'm familiar with the setup process and troubleshooting. All the others work well.
