Works great with my kids headset for their xbox 1, saved me money not having to buy a special headset for their new xbox1 remotes

Great product , but we had three since dec 2013 , don't last long enough, then when goes bad you don't know if it's your headphones are what.still have to have it ,if your not using xbox one headphones.

less a review more of a question... why is this necessary? my headphones and headsets (non xbox btw) work fine with the 3.5mm jack already on the controller. So what does this do that the controller doesn't already do besides make it easier to adjust/mute volume?

It is not the original part. It does work , but there's always this slight annoying background sound.

The Chat/Game balance buttons were broke on mine. If you turn volume up with chat button or game button it turns up both game and chat volume. I can't return it either for some reason?? I didn't check the no returns box to save money. This was my first electronics buy from jet.com [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

have bought two of these for two controllers that I have, I have older turtle beaches and 360 headsets. The 2.5mm to 3.5mm that is supplied with the adapter has broke on both units after some light use in under a month. It is extremely difficult to find these cables. there not sold anywhere, youll have to buy them online, and its not guaranteed to work. if u have nice older headset that you love, just buy a new headset and stay away from this product.

I purchased this to work with my Turtle Beach X42 Headset. You cannot chat with this adapter. You cannot hear anyone talking. While it appears that your mike may be working, as your name comes up on the game screen, if you talk, you have no way of knowing what it is sounding like to others. I have seen in some forums where people have talked about static coming out, from people attempting to use this adapter with a headset. If you do not want to chat, the X42 still gets the game sound, without the need for this adapter, and you are still running wireless. The wireless headsets for the Xbox One are insanely expensive.

Not as advertised. Comes loose WITHOUT the box. No warranty card. No paperwork whatsoever. No way to verify it isn't a fake. DO NOT BUY!!!
