Xtreme Weeder - Weeding tool & garden hoe (Skidger no-rust, push-pull, long handle)

Extremely well made tool. I would recommend adding to your collection of tools for specific needs. I have areas in my yard where I don't want anything growing. Between the shrubs and the drive for instance. I've previously spent an hour pulling weeds and using multiple tools to get rid of weeds, clover and ivy. I was able to completely clear the area in 10 minutes with this tool and unlike a weed walker, I've gotten below the surface of the ground and uprooted the plant instead of just cutting off the top. If you have a large area you want to clear or open areas in a flowerbed, it would be great. I had done a new flowerbed in the fall and sparsely planted perennials but the whole area became covered in fresh saplings. I was able to use this tool to get around my plants and clear out the saplings without bending for hours. It is a little difficult to get in tight spaces and not damage other plants. Once you get into the movement of using the tool, you can get pretty destructive. Luckily I have several areas I can't wait to destroy. Ivy is the worst!

The weeder makes it easy to remove those awful weeds. You don't to do all of the bending and the weeds come out easily. I highly recommend this weeder.

I was hesitant about this tool .. researched it! Checked out some YouTube videos to see how it works ., decided to buy it ., love it! It's changed my life ( we have a lot of weeds) it works two ways . Pointy side digs the weed up from the root.., reverse you can use it like a hoe to scrape the surface to pull out /up the more shallow weeds .. glad I finally bought it !

I was gave a hard time cleaning up the weeds in my garden. Bending forward for a long period was hurting my back. I was so fortunate to find this on Amazon. I used it the same day I received it. It cuts the amount you would spend pulling weeds. It is really easy to use.

Be careful… the blade is very sharp. Works well as a hoe and scraper. Lifts out weeds easily.

I usually don't do reviews, but this one is definitely worthy of it. It's by far the best for cleaning grass around the garden plants. It's sharp on both sides and gets the job done with ease. NO MORE CHOPPING!! I've ordered a second.

I LOVE this tool, it is the best thing I have found so far for clearing out a thick mass of weeds fast from a garden. I am using this to cut Bishops Weed at the base of the stems to weaken the weed and it is working. The greatest thing about this tool is it is sharp and the push-pull action allows me to clear out an area FAST. I do keep it sharp by sharpening the blade at least once a week. This is definitely a MUST HAVE tool for all gardeners!

I just received my Skidger today and put it to use right away. I absolutely LOVE it! I am a 5'1" senior and it works beautifully. We live in the country where there are a lot of weeds and clover etc. and it didn't take much time to get those weeds taken care of without breaking my back. I still have a lot of weeds to take care of but now I won't dread it quite as much 😀

Easy to use .. Love the sharpness and tool does extract weeds with minimal force..

It's not as easy to use as I expected. The push forward is nice but it doesn't really bite into the soil as much as I need it to on the draw back. It takes extra effort on the back motion to cut under the weeds, otherwise it just flattens and mostly defoliates the weeds. It would work best for already loose and well worked soils, and smaller weeds. I will give it another try as everything has a learning curve but first impressions are that my elbows don't like or need this work out.
